Natural sugar better than added sugar??
I always hear people giving health advice and saying “don’t worry, it’s natural sugars they are healthy”.
Is this really true though?
When food is broken down in our body and absorbed, the glucose/fructose molecules will look exactly the same whether they come from a whole food or an ultra processed one.
Our body will treat it exactly the same.
It doesn’t say “oh this comes from whole foods so I’ll use this differently”.
In your body a glucose molecule is a glucose molecule regardless of where it comes from.
The ACTUAL difference is not the sugar, it is what it comes WITH.
A whole food will come with at least some vitamins, nutrients and minerals that can benefit your body.
An ultra processed food comes with seed oils, additives and other toxic chemicals you don’t want in your body.
So yes, if you want sugar in your diet, getting it from whole food sources is better for you.
But NOT because the sugar is “healthy” or different in anyway, but because of what the sugar is accompanied by.

A diet that rots your teeth CANNOT be a species appropriate diet
Any other species on the planet (that has teeth) would die out if they ate a diet that rotted their teeth
It is a clear sign that this is not an appropriate diet for you
Just because we have the dental industry it doesn’t take away the fact that it’s a clear warning sign our diet is wrong
The modern diet is terrible for our teeth
I ate what most would consider a clean, healthy diet
Lots of fruit, plenty of pasta, some vegetables, rice, wraps, bread, small amounts of lean meat and eggs. Had the odd sweet treat, hardly any junk food.
Yet my teeth and gums were ruined.
Changing my diet has improved them significantly but I will never get them back to what they were.

What does grounding do?
Grounding allows our bodies to release the electrical charge we have built up safely into the earth and bring our bodies charge back to its natural level. This will lower inflammation in the body and lower blood pressure.
In this modern society not only are we constantly increasing our charge being surrounded by technology, we are also no longer getting in contact with the earth due to being primarily indoors and wearing socks and shoes outside.
