2019 Golf R has keyless entry for the front doors, but no keyless entry for the rear. In this video we will do the full installation and wiring of the rear door handles for keyless entry and touch lock and unlock. This will require making your own wiring harnesses, repining 7 connectors, and coding the access start module to turn on the handles. Today the MK5 gets a new exhaust system. We are using an APR downpipe, and AWE cat back exhaust system. The catalytic converter was coming apart, so we decided to go with a full turbo back exhaust system. I also had to drill out one of the turbo studs because it broke. Today we install the final part of full stage 2 build, the upgraded turbo inlet pipe. This is a simple and cheap mod for better air flow and more power. After we install the turbo inlet pipe, we will flash a Beta stage 2 tune on the Golf R. The stage 2 file takes advantage of the charge cooler, inlet, intake and downpipe. In this DIY video we are installing an upgraded downpipe on a 2019 MK7.5 Golf R. This downpipe upgrade is part of a full stage 2 build including a charge cooler, turbo inlet pipe, and Stage 2 software. Installing an upgraded downpipe on a turbocharged car will allow better flowing exhaust gas, and change the sound of the exhaust. In this video we install an upgraded reinforced skid plate on the 2019 Golf R. This is an OEM plate from an Golf ALLTRACK. Most MQB cars have a plastic oil pan. The factory belly pan is weak and does not cover the oil pan. To protect that plastic oil pan, we install a reinforced belly pan. This is a simple install with a new pan, a few bolts and 2 brackets. Today we upgrade the rear sway bar on the Golf R! Replacing a rear sway bar and sway bar links is one of the best suspension modifications a FWD and AWD car can get. This is a sway bar upgrade, but if you are having sway bar bushing noise, sway bar link noise, you can follow this DIY as well. Upgrading a rear sway bar introduces more oversteer in a FWD/AWD car. Next on the Miata we evaluate most of the car for further damage. Measuring different sections to see what is bent. We also remove the bumper to see what it will take to fix the front end. A little hammering, and prying should get the front left corner close. The next step will be attempting to fit new bumper, fender, headlights, and more. Since installing the big brake kit on the Mk3 GTI VR6t, the car has had brake issues. In this video we diagnose why the rear brakes are having issues. Using an engine oil extractor makes doing a VW oil change SUPER easy. The MK7.5 Golf R is the perfect car to extract the oil rather than drain the engine oil. But does using the oil extractor get all the oil out? Today we change the engine oil in the mk7.5 Golf R and test it out. We will use the extractor to get as much of the 5.7L out. In this video I will show you how to install a tune on your own car. We are installing Integrated Engineering Stage 1 ECM and DSG software. You can tune your car yourself with the POWERlink. The Golf R tune will add a solid amount of HP and TQ, it also changes throttle response and shifting points. The ECM tune totally changes the way the car behaves. This video started out as documenting the day of an autocross racing event. It turned into more of a story about me breaking the R32. The polyurethane bushings in the front control arms failed. This was right after I replaced other poly bushings in the control arms. Luckily no one was hurt, and it was a short tow to the shop.
