Grateful Dead [1080p Remaster] March 6, 1992 - Hampton Coliseum - Hampton, VA [SBD: Miller] 2-cam
This is a full VIDEO and AUDIO remaster of
Grateful Dead
March 6, 1992
Hampton Coliseum
Hampton, VA
Reallly Great '92 show with Bruce Hornsby, Audio gets an A+ and the video sources are both "A" grades for audience shot video. Also I would score the video good on "ability to attain higher resolution" -- aside from doing some more white balance work and color grading in the future this one came out really nice and i think everyone will enjoy it!
COOORRRIIINNNAAAAAAAAAAAAA :D
Two video sources used to make a whole show here, thanks to @Kevin Tobin for the transfer and authoring work on those two sources
1) Both video sources were taken from 480i 720x480, pixels were made square so 720x480 becomes a proper 640x480, deinterlaced from 480i to 480p 60fps, spatial and temporal denoising was applied before upscaling to 1080p 60fps (1440x1080) which is "proper" .. I added pillar-boxes to fill out the full HD 1920x1080 footprint.
2) Audio on the sources was changed to Charlie Miller's 24-bit FLAC soundboard of this show (listed below)
Josh did all the camera cuts on this 2-camera special.
Really cool shots all around, this is a top-tier Aud shot, especially after our work was done
All post-production work was performed by Josh Davis and Chrstopher Hazard

Grateful Dead [1080p Remaster] November 20, 1985 - Henry J Kaiser Convention Center - Oakland, CA
This is a video remaster of
Grateful Dead
November 20, 1985
Henry J Kaiser Convention Center
Oakland, CA
Notes
This is the "acrobatic bobby show" some might know it by...
Color correction
SBD on existing MKV re-used as it had already been re-tracked by Kevin Tobin
Video started as 480i (720x480 NTSC) 29.97fps and is now 1440x1080p (pixels squared properly for LCD displays, deinterlaced properly with motion vectors to 59.94 fps progressive 640x480 before scaling to 1080p )
As with all videos on this page we aim to use the best sound sources and optimize the old video sources to display properly on a modern display. All of the GD bootlegs are by design made to be displayed on old CRT screens. Modern displays have their own ways of dealing with old NTSC 4:3 interlaced video, and converting to squared pixels and progressive frames is becoming an almost necessity as we keep moving forward. The upscaling is a constantly evolving process that uses multiple softwares and is very intense on computational power. You will always get a better result doing it the slow and proper way instead of the sloppy way.
All post-production work not listed in the lineage below was performed by Josh Davis and Christopher Hazard

This aired on the BBC on Whicker’s World. It is live footage of the GD playing The Golden
Road. It aired with the studio version overdubbed on it, giving the appearance that they were
lipsyncing it. It was supposedly filmed in San Francisco in March of 1967. We just so happen to
have audio of them performing The Golden Road on 3/18/67, and this audio mostly matches up
to the video. Sadly the beginning of the song is missing on the circulating sources, so 17
seconds of the only other live version of the song we have from 5/5/67 are used at the
beginning. While it may or may not be all from 3/18/67, it works better than having the album
version play over top of it.
