It is more common to have poor quality sleep than some of us could imagine. Many people struggle to fall asleep, keep waking up at night, or have normal sleeping hours, but wake up totally not rested.

So first, what is barley grass? Barley grass comes from a barley plant. It’s young baby barley and it does not contain any grains or gluten. The seed or the grain, is what contains gluten. When you consume barley grass, you only get the health benefits. Young barley grass is at its peak nutrition at this stage.
If you buy wheat grass or barley grass, always choose wheat grass or barley grass juice powder, not just a simple powder. Now, what’s the main difference between the two? When you buy a simple powder, you get mostly the indigestible fibre called cellulose, the fibre that we are not able to break down.

What Causes INSULIN RESISTANCE? [Too Much Fat, or Too Many Carbs]
I answer the good old question: What causes insulin resistance, too much fat, too many carbs, or is there anything else? And as always, I’ll answer the question using science. Everything from research studies to the biochemical side. I fairly compare the two diets, the low fat, high carb, and the low carb high fat diet and their potential to cause insulin resistance, or reverse insulin resistance.
There are 2 main theories about the cause of insulin resistance. Both have as it seems, strong scientific basis, which has a few things in common, and a few facts contradicting each other, which can leave many people confused about the true cause of insulin resistance, resulting in them not knowing what diet and lifestyle should they follow to reverse insulin resistance. After watching this video, you will have a much better understanding of what is insulin resistance, what causes it, and how to reverse it.
So these two main camps are as follows: the first one says that fat causes insulin resistance. And the second says that, that carbs cause insulin resistance. I’ll explain both sides, give you the facts, look at the research, explain the mechanism of each, and let you decide, which one makes more sense to you.

Before looking into insulin test results, what is insulin?
Insulin is a hormone responsible for regulating blood sugars. Each time you eat, you elevate your insulin. The more times you eat or snack something – the more insulin you will have in your system.
In normal conditions, when you are insulin sensitive, the amount of glucose and the amount of insulin would be perfectly balanced.
Having too much insulin over time, results in insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is a state where cells in your body refuse to let glucose in to be used as fuel. The amount of sugar or glucose in our blood should always be around 100 mg/dL. It is equivalent to around 1 teaspoon of glucose in your blood. 1 teaspoon in 5 litres of blood.
How do you test your insulin levels?
You can test either your fasting insulin levels, your C-peptide levels, or your HOMA-IR.
How to interpret your insulin results? And how to know if you are insulin resistant or not?
That’s a normal range:
FG (Fasting Glucose) 70-100 mg/dL or 3.9 to 5.6 mmol/L
A1c Less than 5.7
FI (Fasting Insulin) 2 – 5 mIU/ml
Less than 5 mIU/ml – normal
Less than 3 mIU/ml – ideal
HOMA-IR 0.5-1.5

How to interpret HOMA-IR scores?
Healthy Range: 1.0 (0.5–1.5)
More than 1.5 indicates early insulin resistance
More than 2.9 indicates significant insulin resistance
- HOMA-IR test measures how hard your body has to work to keep your blood sugars at normal levels.
How to interpret fasting insulin results?
Up to 5 is normal.
More than 5 – you are insulin resistant
If your result is 10 or more, you have a high level of insulin resistance
And how to interpret C-peptide test results?
The normal range for a c-peptide test is: 0.51 to 2.72 ng/mL
This may also be expressed as: 0.17-0.90 nmol/L

And here’s another study that looked at how different diets affect insulin. It compared the high carbohydrate diet, low in saturated fat, and the low carbohydrate diet, high in saturated fat. The low carbohydrate, high fat diet resulted in much lower insulin concentrations.

Heavy Metal Detox With Zeolites [Chelation Protocol: Zeolite Dosage, Particle Size, Timing]
I talk about heavy metal detox with zeolites. Zeolite is a natural chelating agent. I explain a simple heavy metal detox/chelation therapy protocol using zeolites, that causes no risk to health. Zeolite has been rated: Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) for human consumption by the FDA.
When it comes to health, Zeolite has many different uses, starting heavy metal detox, mould detox, removing other harmful compounds from the body, killing harmful bacteria and viruses, such as herpes, improving wound healing, improving acne, to being used for treating cancer, where it was found to prolong life span and decrease tumour size in animal studies, and decrease the negative side effect caused by chemotherapy in human studies.
It has some pretty amazing health benefits and many different uses. I’ll talk about zeolite dosage, particle size, and explain all you need to know for a safe and effective heavy metal detox at home.
