A Palestinian civilian testified that female Israeli guards raped him and revealed that children are also being mass raped in their prisons. He reported that genital mutilation and torture are routine, with Israeli doctors participating in the abuse.

In Deir al-Balah, there is a concerning spread of skin diseases among children, exacerbated by the extreme heat and lack of clean water. A recent visit to an educational tent with 150 students revealed 24 cases of scabies, highlighting the severity of the outbreak. Alongside scabies, there has been an increase in chickenpox and Hepatitis A and early stages of Hepatitis C, primarily due to sewage contamination. The unsanitary conditions, including infested sand and the absence of basic hygiene products like soap and shampoo, contribute to the children's suffering, with many unable to sleep due to relentless itching.

UN investigator Chris Sidoti lambasted the Israeli army as "one of the most criminal armies in the world" during a press conference discussing a report on abuses that have taken place since the 7 October Hamas attacks and Israel's subsequent war on Gaza Sidoti sat alongside Navi Pillay, the lead investigator on the UN's Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, who added that the report represented the UN's "first in-depth investigation" of those events and the findings would be relied upon as evidence by the International Criminal Court.

A Palestinian shop owner was rushed to hospital after being shot by a heavily armed Israeli in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday. Israeli media reported that an off duty occupation soldier shot the man and an investigation has been launched by Israeli authorities. Three others were also injured in the attack.
