Bible Study: The Cosmopolitan City Church Part 6 08/27/2023
This is part 6 of studying Paul's letters to the church in Corinth. That city is much like modern day New York City or Los Angeles. Filled with culture, wealth, and many pagan practices. Let's take a look at the next section of the epistle that talks about worship, the Lord's supper, spiritual gifts, tongues, and the way of love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Baptism Service 05/21/2023
Romans 6:3-5
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Christmas Service 2022
1 John 3:8
...The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
Christmas has been celebrated by believers for eons. Does it have a Biblical precedent or is it an amalgamation of pagan symbols, rituals, and Christian culture? What about the claim of Christmas just a Christianized Saturnalia?
Or has it been totally Christian this whole time?
Let's take a look at all these questions but more importantly let us honor Jesus Christ as he deserves. Let us celebrate his birth in Spirit and truth.

Deuteronomy 16:18-20
“You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous. Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Church Service: The Potter And The Clay
In one of the most controversial passages in scripture does it teach determinism? Does it proclaim God chooses who goes to heaven or hell? Or do we have a choice? Let’s go through the scripture line by line and see what the word of God has to say.
Romans 9:20-21
On the contrary, who are you, you foolish person, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it? Or does the potter not have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one object for honorable use, and another for common use?
