Sailing sv Little Bear

Completing the spreader light install, and wiring up other lights, then testing them all. I apologize for the poor audio quality on this vid. When I record these there's no indication that there is a problm with audio, so I get what I get. :(

s/v Little Bear had spreader lights at one time but a previous owner removed them and never replaced them. I decided to buy a pair of LED cree lights. One of the things that can, & will quickly destroy an antenna or antenna cable is water. Especially salt water. Working on the mast in winter is a bit of a challenge, both the cold, and simply moving around on deck.

The mast is just a stick, but it carries some critical hardware. Some of that is going to be replaced, some renewed.

The bowsprit is back on! What a great feeling. This is a milestone day if ever there was, let me tell you!

After all the drilling, filling, re-drilling, epoxying, and sundry other tasks, the bow sprit is mostly ready to go back on the boat. Happy days.

The time has come, all the drilling, filling, re-drilling, epoxying, sealing is done, time to put the boomkin back on. Very satisfying job to do.

While I wait for material to arrive for the bigger projects, I tackle some smaller but still necessary jobs.

I decided on CopperCoat as a bottom treatment because over time it is far cheaper than the alternatives. A long day of work and the bottom is done.
