Summary:
Let’s begin the discussion with the thread lift procedure for your face
Although thread lifts were popular before 2010, they’re making a comeback. A thread lift helps lift your skin with the aid of sutures. Previously they went out of fashion because procedures proved effective for only a year.
Six-pack creation is more popular than you think
Liposuction is a popular plastic surgery procedure meant to flatten an area with excess fat, especially in areas such as the abdomen. But lately, a more complex version of liposuction called Hi-Def Liposuction has become popular.
Fat removal from the cheek is a frequently requested procedure
In this procedure, doctors remove the fat from your mouth so your cheeks look thinner. Although this procedure has been around for over a decade, it has recently gained more popularity due to social media influencers.
Bra line back lift has gained momentum over the last few years
For many, a bread back can be an issue they want to fix. What is a bread back? It’s essentially when the fat on the back turns into rolls. This extra fat makes it difficult for some people to wear their bras comfortably or confidently.
Next on our list are fillers
Botox is one of the most popular treatments for those looking to remove wrinkles from their skin. Filler injections are an alternative to surgical procedures that offer a wide range of uses.
People are opting for belly button surgery as well.
Did you know some people have an issue with how their belly button looks? Some people have belly buttons that point outwards rather than in and opt for cosmetic surgery to change their outie to an innie.
Brazilian butt lift isn’t all roses
If you have heard of Kim Kardashian, you’ll know why the Brazilian butt lift has gained in popularity in recent years. Celebrities have made this procedure popular, but it comes with one of the highest mortality rates among all cosmetic surgeries.
Jawline reduction is a go-to procedure for many people
When you chew your food, you are using a muscle called masseter muscle. When there is an overgrowth of this muscle, your jawline ends up becoming wide.
Moving on, let’s talk about donut breast lift
People looking to get a lift for their sagging breasts are likely to undergo this procedure. This procedure involves a doctor cutting out excess skin and moving the nipple up the breast, so the breasts don’t appear drooping.
Last on our list is dimple creation
Dimples are a very coveted characteristic for many people. Not all of us come with dimples, so we look towards plastic surgery to achieve the desired effect.

22 Creepy Facts That Are Scary And Mysterious
Here are 22 creepy facts that we find scary and mysterious.
#Mysterious #Facts #Creepy
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
Summary:
8. DIgestive creepiness: This next fact is slightly disturbing and even kind of gross. Believe it or not, there are types of bacteria inside of your stomach that you use to digest food, but after you die those same bacteria will digest you. Well, there goes my sleep for the week.
7. Death from laughter: Did you know that it’s possible to die from laughing too much? There are at least 10 recorded deaths by laughing. It usually happens when the laughter causes some form of cardiac arrest or asphyxiation, according to Wikipedia. So I guess they lied when they told us as kids that laughter is the best medicine. Mind blown.
6. Cotard delusion: A rare mental illness called cotard delusion exists, and the person who is affected by the illness either believes that they are dead or that they have lost all their blood and/or internal organs. The person affected by the illness typically denies their very existence and suffers from extreme psychiatric depression.
5. Eyelash mites: Did you know that there are tiny little bugs that live on your face and eat off your dead skin? The bugs are called Demodex, and they’re tiny mites that live in or close to our hair follicles. There are two species of Demodex living on humans, and both species are typically referred to as “eyelash mites”.
4. Blood squirting lizards: Blood squirting lizards exist! They are called horned lizards, and they actually have a blood-squirting mechanism which shoots blood from their eyes. Blood squirting is a horned lizard's best-known defence when being attacked. A pouch below the lizard’s eyes swells up with blood, and with a surge of pressure, the lizard squirts up a stream of blood that can travel up to six feet.
3. The Suicide Forest: The Aokigahara forest, also known as the Suicide Forest, is located in Japan and is a popular tourist destination. The forest is known as one of the world’s leading sites for suicides. There are even signs located in different areas of trails in the forest encouraging suicide visitors to rethink their decision and contact suicide prevention hotlines.
2. Bacteria in our mouths: Did you know that there could be more bacteria in your mouth than there are people on earth? “In one month, the number of bacteria can easily exceed the number of people who live on Earth,” says Sigmund Socransky, associate clinical professor of periodontology at Harvard. That’s something I could have gone without knowing.
1. Dead skin cells: Human beings lose approximately 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells every single minute. If you do the math, that can add up to 50 million skin cells every single day. According to scientists, by the time a human being reaches adulthood, they will have lost roughly 37 trillion cells.

10 Foods To Avoid If You Have Arthritis

#Arthritis #Food #Diet
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/...
Summary:
1. Gluten and wheat. These two products can produce an inflammatory response even if you are not gluten or wheat intolerant.
A leaky gut (which is an actual medical term now) has been linked to joint pain. A leaky gut lets toxins into the bloodstream which can then lead to inflammation around the joints. Because arthritis causes inflammation in joints, it can be extremely painful, resulting in swollen and stiff joints. This can impact the quality of a person’s life. According to the arthritis foundation, gluten can cause flare ups of arthritis symptoms.
2. Dairy. Almost all dairy products contain a type of slow digesting protein called casein. Casein protein can have the potential to irritate the tissues around the joints. This will then evolve from a joint irritation into a full-blown inflammation.
3. Corn oil. Corn oil should be avoided since any food with abnormally high doses of omega-6 fatty acids can have the potential to cause inflammation.
An excess of any oil, such as canola, grapeseed or sunflower, can lead to inflammation. It is easy to overindulge in these omega-6 fatty acids since so many foods contain this compound.
4. Fried and processed foods. It should be pretty straightforward as to why the reduction in fried and processed foods can eliminate or reduce inflammation and subsequent joint pain.
5. Foods that have been fried, grilled, heated or pasteurized. A toxic byproduct, known as advanced glycation end product (or AGE), is found in many fried, grilled, heated or pasteurized foods. It can actually cause inflammation.
When these AGE foods are consumed, it elicits an autoimmune response since some proteins in the body are ‘attacked.’ This then causes the onset of arthritic symptoms due to increased inflammation.
6. Select vegetables. Vegetables such as eggplants, peppers, potatoes, and tomatoes can actually worsen arthritis pain. This is because a compound called solanine which is found in these vegetables can create ‘adverse physiological reactions’ in people with arthritis.
7. Sugar. Things like fructose, glucose, and sucrose can stimulate molecules in the body which will then stimulate inflammation. You should also avoid drinking carbonated drinks, which are loaded with sugar and are extremely high in calories. This can lead to weight gain and inflammation. If you are trying to cut sugar out of your diet, you can opt for sugar free alternatives, add more fruits and veggies to your diet, and avoid over indulging on sweets.
8. Refined carbohydrates. White flour products such as white bread, white potatoes, and most cereals can cause inflammation since they are high on the glycemic index. Furthermore, refined carbs may increase the risk of obesity. Obesity is one of the primary risk factors of arthritis.
9. Alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol and tobacco have been linked to a specific type of arthritis called rheumatoid arthritis. Tobacco and alcohol use can lead to a large variety of different health problems, including inflammation. Smokers are at a higher risk for developing rheumatoid arthritis, while alcohol can increase a person's risk of developing gout. So try to cut back on drinking and smoking, and make healthier choices which includes getting adequate rest and exercise.
10. Smoking. Smoking is a big factor in the symptoms associated with rheumatoid arthritis. People who have smoked for more than 20 years are at a much higher risk of developing severe rheumatoid arthritis. Smoking can also decrease the effectiveness of certain drugs which are used to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Scientists suspect that smoking can also affect the immune system's functionality. Luckily, smoking is an environmental risk factor, and is also completely preventable. If you smoke and have arthritis, you should consider quitting. If you need help quitting, speak to your doctor today.

14 Worst Natural Disasters In History
These are the worst natural disasters in history. While natural disasters appear to have become more frequent and devastating in the past ten years, human history is filled with reports of catastrophes of nature.
#WorstNaturalDisasters #Disaster #NaturalDisasters
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
Summary:
After many years that have been littered with heartbreaking natural disasters, where scientists warn that global climate change may exacerbate the risks of these events, the world’s attention has turned back to the disasters of yesteryear. From earthquakes to fire to tsunamis and more, mother nature is a ferocious beast. There’s no telling what mother nature’s capabilities are, and when a natural disaster is occurring, it can be like something out of the movies.
This reflection process is important. The more we understand about past disasters, the better we are at responding to tomorrow’s tragedies, limiting loss of life and minimizing international impact. And the more we know about why these events happened, the better we can understand the Earth we live on, spurring scientific progress. This can hopefully help cities and places prepare for events that could cause damage to life, and can also help us better understand mother nature. Studying and understanding these natural events can also show scientists how to watch for warning signs or signals which could potentially save thousands, if not even millions of lives.

Symptoms of Meningitis That Every Parent Should Know About
When we become sick, it is easy to mistaken our symptoms with the flu. Take meningitis for example, it causes stiffness, headaches and a high fever. These symptoms are all very similar to flu-like symptoms. So while to the average person this may seem like a cold or fly, it actually isn’t. due to that assumption, it may not get treated with the proper care.
Typically, meningitis is triggered by a bacterial or viral fungal infection, and if left untreated can become life threatening if the proper antibiotics are not taken. With that said, if you suspect that you or someone you know is suffering from meningitis, there will be certain symptoms and signs that will be evident.

8 Signs That Your Body Is Slowly Deteriorating
These signs show that your body is slowly deteriorating and aging. As we get older in life, our body slowly begins to deteriorate. There is no way to prevent this, but only accept it. When this begins to occur, our body does begin to give us signs that we’re getting up there.
The good news is that there are ways we can prevent our bodies from showing us that we are getting up there in age. Not only can you prevent these signs from showing, but it will also make you healthier and help you gracefully age.

Summary:
- When people look at you, the first thing they see is your face/skin. So those who do not take proper care of their skin will often experience .
- You might not be able to spot this common sign at first. It may seem like dry skin, but it could also be a genetic condition called Psoriasis. This condition is not contagious and can only be inherited.
- You can tell if a person is healthy or gracefully aging by the type of nails they have. Someone who is healthy will have strong nails, but someone whose body is deteriorating will have brittle nails. Usually this is caused by a lack of vitamin B and calcium.
- Usually this sign occurs because you are not taking good care of your gums, teeth and mouth. But it can also be caused by a lack of vitamin C.
- The definition of insomnia is a condition where the person is unable to sleep. At times this can be in direct correlation with stress.
- Everyone experiences this sign. When you get that urge to leap out of your seat and grab something salty and savory, you just can’t shake it.
- As we age, so does our brain. You might not think anything of it, but when you start to forget names and dates of people and things that are important to you, it might be more than just being a forgetful person.
- This sign plays in the same deck of cards as forgetting things. Your bones and muscles can only strengthen themselves for so long until they begin to deteriorate. When you start to feel pain in your back and legs when you wake up or sit down, it’s a direct sign that your muscles and bones are weak.

8 Foods You Should Never Eat
Nutritionists recommend that you never eat these foods. A lot more people are becoming more health conscious over the past few years, with obesity and health complications as the topic of a growing concern.
Nutritionists make it a point to advocate for the healthiest foods, with the exception that a cheat day can happen as long as it’s in moderation. There are, however, some exceptions to this rule in certain foods that you should try and always steer clear of.

Summary:
- Everyone knows that candy is bad for you, but there are certain types of candy that are loaded with chemicals, preservatives, and more sugar than any adult requires in one day. Sugary sweets have little to zero nutritional value and are terribly addictive.
- A lot of processed meats including salami, hot dogs, bologna, or prepackaged lunch meats contain chemicals that are used to preserve the meat for unnaturally long periods. They also include flavor additives, coloring and poor quality trans-fats that are bad for your heart and body. Try sticking to fresh meat from the deli or local sources.
- A lot of companies that bottle Ketchup will lace it with sugar and heavily process it. The same goes for most store-bought condiments. Fortunately, there are certain brands out there that make all-natural ketchup or any other condiments that have great flavor without all the additives.
- Soda drinks or certain bottled juices contain excessive amounts of sugar and are filled with other harmful chemicals that are terribly addictive. Similarly, if you stick with diet drinks, many of these contain aspartame which is a known cancer-causing agent. Some beverages, like small bottles of ‘energy’ contain up to 10x your daily sodium intake. If you need a caffeine boost, stick with a natural coffee, espresso or tea.
- A lot of boxed fish and cheap filets come from Tilapia. But what a lot of people don’t realize is that Tilapia farms often keep the fish in tightly confined tanks which tend to breed cancer-causing organic pollutants. Farm-bred fish also have lower levels of nutrition and contain sometimes dangerous levels of Dioxin, another cancer-causing chemical as the result of toxic water, which can take up to a decade to leave your system after consumption. Always stick to fresh market fish if possible.
- “Westernized” Chinese food (not necessarily the authentic stuff) contains extraordinarily high levels of sodium fats and carbohydrates. Some Chinese food chains will add Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) to their food which, although recognized as ‘generally safe’, is met with a great deal of controversy. This food is also high in trans and saturated fats which are large contributors to obesity.
- Hydrogenated fat is a special kind of fat where hydrogen is pushed through the fat at an extremely high temperature, altering the state of the fat from a liquid to a solid. This process can be harmful when consumed in excess and is almost like eating plastic. Foods high in hydrogenated fats should definitely be avoided.
- A common misconception made by a study in the 80s determined that margarine was healthier for you because it helped you avoid consuming excess animal fats. However, this belief has since been debunked by modern science, proving that margarine is actually very high in trans fats which, when consumed long-term, can contribute to heart disease and raise the risk of death by almost 34%! Heavily processed vegetable oils are also high in trans fats. Stick to natural butter, olive oil, and coconut oil instead.

Summary:
Whitening Your Teeth: If you're a cigarette smoker, you might want to try this one out. Each night before you go to bed, try mixing several teaspoons of baking soda with lemon juice or water to make a paste. Put the paste on your tooth brush and brush your teeth for one minute. After doing this for a few consecutive days, the stains on your teeth should improve. Further research that is published on PubMed can add more merit to this claim. The study found on PubMed was a six-week clinical study of four commercially available teeth cleaning pastes that claim to remove stains from teeth. The study was done to compare the efficiency of Colgate Tartar Control with Baking Soda & Peroxide Fluoride Toothpaste; Aquafresh Advanced Whitening Toothpaste with Fluoride; Rembrandt Tartar Control Low Abrasion Fluoride Whitening Toothpaste; and Crest Regular Fluoride Toothpaste. Each participant of the study was put into one of four groups which included age, gender, tobacco habits, and level of tooth stain. Each subject was instructed to brush their teeth for one minute, twice a day with their assigned toothpaste. At the end of the six-week study, participants using Colgate Tartar Control with Baking Soda & Peroxide Fluoride saw significantly lower levels of tooth stain.
Now that you know how baking soda can help you in your everyday life, here are some more handy uses that you probably didn't know about everyday household items!
Ketchup: Did you know that ketchup can help clean silver jewelry? That's right, it can! No need to spend money on expensive cleansers. To clean your silver jewelry with ketchup, just soak your jewelry in a bowl of ketchup for just a few minutes, and voila!
Newspaper: Got any funky, lingering smells in your fridge that you just can't seem to get rid of? Well, try placing newspapers inside the bins of your fridge, and witness those funky smells disappear!
Rubber bands: Busy moving things out of a room and can't open the door yourself because your hands are too full? Well, if this ever happens to you and you don't have anyone there to help you move things around or open and close a door for you, you might want to try this: to keep a door open, loop a rubber band around the inside and outside knobs of a door. Twist the elastic so that an 'X' shape holds the latch open!
A penny: Do you love flowers but hate how quickly they die? Well, there is one item that may be able to solve all your dead flower problems! The next time you buy a new bouquet of flowers, drop a penny into the water in the vase and add a dash of sugar. Your flowers will stay alive longer! The reason pennies can keep flowers alive for a longer period of time is because copper is actually a fungicide and it can naturally kill off the bacteria and fungi that kill flowers. The more you know!

✍️ Summary:
Vitamin A
Men above 14 years of age require 900 micrograms of Vitamin A daily. Your body is incapable of making this vitamin on its own.
Iron
While the boys received 6000 International units of Vitamin A per week, they also had 12 mg of iron daily.
Vitamin D3
This vitamin, which also is a hormone, can be produced in high amounts by your body when exposed to sunlight.
Vitamin E
This is especially important when thinking about fertility. It has the unique property of protecting testosterone molecules from the harmful effects of oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids.
Vitamin C
We always hear about this vitamin, and frankly, what’s not to like? Poor dietary habits like eating highly processed foods, smoking, and breathing environmental pollutants can cause oxidative stress.
Vitamin K2
The proper amount contributes to maintaining brain function, improving heart health, and preventing osteoporosis.
Zinc
It's not surprising that this popular mineral benefits your whole body. Most multivitamin tablets will contain Zinc. But popping in an over-the-counter supplement is only helpful if you have low zinc levels. Too much Zinc can be dangerous.
Magnesium
Magnesium calms your nervous system and reduces stress. Low-stress hormones are directly related to uplifted testosterone production.
Boron
This trace element reaches our food through minerals from the soil. But only a negligible amount goes into our bodies due to overfarming. You would have to eat a lot of avocados or raisins to bridge the gap of boron deficiency.
Selenium
Selenium is present in the soil, water, and mainly in Brazil nuts. A single Brazil nut contains around 50 micrograms of selenium.
Choline
It's only been a couple of decades since the medical community discovered this nutrient. That is why scientists cannot decide if choline is a vitamin or a mineral. Some researchers group it with B vitamins.

8 Most Addictive Substances On The Planet
The 8 most addictive substances on the planet. It’s no secret; drugs play a big problem in our society, and over the years we have seen certain drugs become increasingly popular, which has led to them becoming more addictive.
Ranking them on their addictive qualities can be difficult though, since people react differently to different substances. Despite that fact, a group of addiction experts that includes specialists from the Royal College of Psychiatrists as well as scientists, chemists, and pharmacologists took a stab at it.

Summary:
let’s find out what the top 8 addictive drugs on the planet are.
1 Heroin: It’s been called the king of narcotics for a long time, so it’s no surprise that it ended up on the rankings, and also as the #1 addictive drug. It has the ability to quickly penetrate the brain and activate the brain's “reward system”.
2 Crack Cocaine: Crack is the purest form of cocaine. It appears as yellowish-white rocks, and is mainly ingested through a heated glass pipe. Exactly like heroin, crack cocaine activates the brain's reward system and causes large amounts of dopamine, the neurotransmitter that is directly responsible for the release of feelings and pleasure.
3 Nicotine: People really underestimate the addictive potency of nicotine just because it’s legal. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, nearly 35 million smokers attempt/want to quit each year. However, 85% that attempt to quit, relapse in a week.
4 Methadone: This addictive drug is usually used to treat heroin or morphine addictions, so from a clinical aspect, this is a good drug to be addicted to. Though becoming addicted to this drug from while under direct supervision is low (1%), those who take it recreationally can quickly become addicted.
The effects of this drug are very similar to heroin, but the withdrawal can be very painful and difficult. The average time frame is a month. The dependence rating for methadone is 2.62.
5 Methamphetamine: Two chemicals in the brain are imitated when this drug is consumed: dopamine and norepinephrine, both which are responsible for feelings and alertness.
6 Alcohol: Like many other drugs on this list, alcohol triggers the brain's reward system and produces satisfaction and pleasure. It also increases the brain’s levels of endorphins, which is the brain's natural painkiller. Which is why when most people get drunk, all their problems go away.
7 Cocaine: Cocaine is a powerful stimulant drug which is made from the leaves of coca plants which are native to South America. It is a fine white powder which is sometimes mixed with materials like cornstarch or powder by street dealers. Cocaine is snorted through the nose and creates a feeling of extreme mental alertness, extreme happiness or energy, irritability, paranoia, and more. Though cocaine does not have the same withdrawal symptoms as alcohol does, it does trick the brain in the same way. It drastically increases the level of dopamine which causes intense cravings.
8 Amphetamines: Not as addictive as meth, but still preys on the brain's reward system. Aside from causing quick tolerance and cravings, amphetamine offers a wide range of effects.

Summary:
Blood In Your Urine
When you go to the bathroom, do you ever get paranoid that you’re going to find blood in the toilet? It’s a thought that’s gotta cross your mind every now and then, especially as you get older.
Leaky Pee
This description might sound humorous, but it’s anything but. Also known as urinary incontinence, leaky pee can happen when there is stress placed on the bladder.
Urinate Sitting Down
If you’re experiencing extreme pain in your prostate region, it’s going to be hard to pee standing up. The pain in your pelvis has become so overwhelming, standing is a task. As a result, you’re going to feel like you have no choice but to sit on the toilet and do your business.
Bathroom Trips Have Doubled
Are you finding yourself rushing to the bathroom out of nowhere? We all have those moments, but if you’re urinating more frequently than usual, you may need to get your prostate checked out.
Pain In Your Rectum
Prostate cancer can cause rectal pain. Mind you, it’s more common after you’ve had surgery. If you’re experiencing endless pain in your rectal area, it could be a sign of undiagnosed prostate cancer.
Hard Time Stopping Your Pee
Let’s just say when you have prostate cancer, peeing is going to be a lot harder than it used to be. Aside from all the extra trips to the toilet, as well as blood in the urine, you may have difficulty stopping yourself from urinating.
Peeing As Much
While prostate cancer can increase the amount of times you urinate, it can actually work the opposite way as well.
There's Pain In Your Lower Back, Hips, Pelvis Or Thighs
Not all symptoms deal with urine and the rectum. Prostate cancer comes with extreme pain in the bones. This pain is the most common in the pelvis area, lower back and upper thighs. This happens when things get really bad.
Smell Of Urine
If you have prostate cancer, don’t be surprised if you notice a really gross odor coming from your underwear. It’s pee! It will usually come late at night after you undress yourself for bed. If it’s particularly strong, you may even get a whiff during the day.
High PSA Count
You probably don’t know this, but all men have small levels of a specific antigen in their blood. These are known as Prostate Specific Antigens, or PSA. While a small level of these PSA is common, a large amount could point towards prostate cancer.

Sleep Paralysis Symptoms, Causes And Treatment
Sleep Paralysis is when you to wake up in the middle of the night and can’t move.
#Sleep #SleepParalysis #SleepDisorder
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
Summary:
Imagine this. You go to bed after a regular day, just like you do every night. Then, sometime after midnight, your eyes open. You know you’re awake because you can feel, hear, and see everything around you the same way you did before you fell asleep.
But slowly, you realize something’s off. Your mind is awake but you can’t move. It feels like there’s something crushing your chest. That’s when panic sets in and you realize you’re awake in a nightmare.
This sounds like something straight out of a Stephen King novel, but it’s actually a phenomenon that happens to a lot of people. In fact, “being awake in a nightmare” is the most common way people describe this condition (along with “waking up dead”).
Sleep paralysis, as it’s commonly known, has puzzled every culture around the world for hundreds of years. People from all around the world have described this condition and could only provide spiritual and esoteric explanations. Today, with the help of science, we have a deeper understanding of what it means.
So what is it exactly? Thanks to modern research, we now know that sleep paralysis originates from issues with REM sleep. During REM sleep, the body gets frozen by the brain in order to stop you from physically acting out your dreams while you’re asleep. This kind of paralysis that happens during REM sleep is natural and normal (called REM atonia). It becomes unnatural when a person is awake while their body is experiencing that REM atonia. It sounds pretty horrifying, doesn’t it? If you’ve ever experienced sleep paralysis you’re probably well aware of how scary it can be, and how it can have a huge impact on the way you live your everyday life. In fact, many people who suffer from sleep paralysis often experience lack of sleep because the thought of experiencing it makes them want to avoid sleeping all together. It may also affect their mental health as well as their physical health as they try to navigate through their daily lives with a sleep schedule that is often severely affected or non-existent at all.

7 Signs Of Vitamin D Deficiency
Warning signs of vitamin D deficiency that everyone should know, and sources of Vitamin D.
#Health #VitaminD #VitaminDDeficiency
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
Summary:
Did you know that before the year 2000, most doctors believed that none of their patients could be vitamin D deficient? But as technology to measure for vitamin D became affordable, more studies were conducted. According to Dr. Michael Holick, who is one of the leading vitamin D researchers, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that 32% of adults and children in the US were vitamin D deficient. That’s a pretty high number; so for that reason alone, it’s important that you look for signs of vitamin D deficiency.
With more research being conducted, Holick believes that about 50% of the general population may be at risk of vitamin D deficiency.
The only way to know for sure if you are vitamin D deficient is by a blood test. But the signs and symptoms that come along with this deficiency could be helpful as well.
There are certain people who are more at risk for developing a vitamin D deficiency. These people include the elderly, those who have milk allergies, those who have darker skin, or those who follow a vegan diet. Symptoms associated with vitamin D deficiency include an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, asthma in children, cognitive impairment in seniors, and more. It is extremely important to get a sufficient amount of vitamin D in order to avoid these health risks. If you are not exposed to the sun very often and have a strict diet which doesn't incorporate many foods which are rich in vitamin D, it may be time to start talking to your doctor about the best types of supplements you should be taking for vitamin D, and how many or how often you should be taking them.
It should be noted that there are many different harmful effects of over exposure to the sun. Overexposure to the sun can result in sunburn, premature aging of the skin, skin cancer, and skin damage. Did you know that over 90 per cent of skin cancers are caused by sun exposure? This is why scientists are often debating about the best ways to get Vitamin D. Although vitamin D comes from the sun, being in the sun too long can pose all sorts of other dangerous health issues and risks which can lead to cancer. Over exposure to the sun allows damaging and harmful UV rays to reach the inner skin layers of a person's body. This causes sunburn, and can even kill or damage skin cells, possibly developing into cancer. Although a small amount of UV exposure is good for us (because it creates vitamin D), too much sun exposure can lead to early aging, skin cancer, a lowered immune system, and more. This is why doctors suggest eating a diet that has foods which are rich in Vitamin D. That being said, not many foods have vitamin D in them, which is why vitamin D supplements are becoming increasingly popular. Speak to your doctor today about the best ways you can increase your levels of vitamin D. Your doctor will likely suggest taking a vitamin D supplement.

15 Foods Rich With Vitamin B3 (Niacin) You Need To Eat
Vitamin B3 or niacin is a water soluble vitamin that your body needs for several functions like converting nutrients into energy, creating and repairing DNA, making cholesterol and fats, and it also has antioxidant properties. Niacin also works as a coenzyme, with more than 400 other enzymes depending on it for proper functioning. Niacin being a water soluble nutrient needs to be consumed regularly as it is constantly excreted from the body via urine. Niacin can either come from food or supplements and the recommended daily intake is 16 mg per day for men and 14 mg per day for women.

Salmon
Salmon, especially the wild variety, is a wonderful source of niacin, as an ounce of wild caught Atlantic salmon packs more than 50% of our daily allowance of niacin.
Avocados
Avocados are another rich source of niacin, and a medium one contains about 3.5 grams, which is 21% of the required daily allowance for men and 25% for women respectively.
Potatoes
Potatoes are a rich source of niacin, they can be had baked, boiled, fried or steamed depending on your preference.
Chicken Breast
Chicken breast, and chicken in general is a good source of niacin and lean protein.
Turkey
Turkey provides less niacin than chicken does, but turkey contains trytophan which the body can convert into niacin.
Ground Beef
Ground beef is loaded with Niacin. It is also a good source of protein, vitamin B12, selenium, iron, and zinc.
Peanuts
Peanuts are another excellent source of niacin.
Pork
Lean cuts of pork are a good source of niacin, tenderloin or lean pork chops contain fair amounts.
Liver
A typical serving of 3 ounces of cooked beef liver provides over 14 mg of niacin which is 91% of the required daily allowance for men, and 100% for women.

Summary:
The dreaded word Cancer…
Cancer occurs when cells in your body divide abnormally and at a fast pace, spreading to various tissues and organs. This abnormal division, called a tumor, ends up causing disruptions to your body’s general functionality.
Mutations are closely linked to cancer…
This means there is a change in the DNA of your cells. These mutations can be inherited from birth or can be caused by environmental factors.
Moving on, leukemia is one of the most challenging types of cancer…
Leukemia is one such type of cancer, which typically occurs in the bone marrow. This is the area where your body creates the blood cells. Although there are different types of blood cells, leukemia is usually a reference to cancer of the white blood cells.
Studying gene mutations
In a landmark study, the gene mutations that were likely to be responsible for blood cancer have been found. Researchers belonging to the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow studied the role of cells that specifically produce the rest of the blood cells in the body.
Other significant studies on gene mutations causing leukemia
Turns out this is not the first time that such a study has been conducted. More than a decade ago, another study was done to determine which gene mutations were causing leukemia. Defects in the GATA2 gene showed a predisposition towards acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplasia.

5 Signs of a Future Sociopath or Psychopath
Signs of a future sociopath or psychopath. Did you know that there are certain signs that a child will be a psychopath or sociopath in the future?
#Sociopath #Psychopath #MentalHealth
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
Summary:
Children tend to have certain personality traits that may help determine what they will be like in the future. Identifying a psychopath at an early age is crucial. We all know what they’re capable of when they become older. With famous psychopaths and serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Jack the Ripper, scientists are constantly trying to figure out what can cause it. One thing is for sure, there are warning signs when they are younger. At times, it’s when parents push their children that lead to certain actions by them. The issue is they don’t pay much attention to certain warning signs. There are actually some pretty interesting studies about children and different types of mental health warning signs that parents should look for that could be signs that a child will be a psychopath in the future. These warning signs could be signs of an antisocial personality disorder, psychopathy, or something else.
They’re Filled With Excuses and Lies: We all lie at some point in our life, but what makes a psychopath different from the rest of us is the intensity and frequency of the lie. Never forget that a psychopath will always serve their own interests no matter what. So these lies serve a purpose in the end for them, no matter how ridiculous they may seem.
They Love Looking Down At People: Did you know that because they possess low self-esteem and insecurity issues, a psychopath will do everything in their power to belittle people. They know all the right buttons to push with people, and in the end you will find yourself apologizing for things that are far from the truth or reality. This is also a sign of a narcissist.
They’re Hypocrites: psychology experts state that psychopaths, narcissists, and sociopaths can are typically charmers, they know what to say and do in order to get on everyone’s good side. But the minute you turn your back to them, they will stab you in the back. They also possess the ability to play the victim or the nurturer. If someone catches wind that they have been gossiping about them, a psychopath will almost immediately play the victim card. Or they will play the nurturer card, even if the person they are nurturing is sad because of something they deliberately did to them.
They Have Many Sides: psychopathic behavior is always changing. They use different personas depending on the situation. They can go from a happy, go-lucky person to a repulsive angry person in a matter of seconds. They can be the most compassionate person towards you, and then the moment someone else is around, they can turn their back on you like it was nothing. These actions are red flags because they do not fit the normal personality frame.
Drama Queens: They never like taking responsibility for their own behavior. So they tend to toss the blame onto other people and avoid admitting they’re wrong. They will do everything in their power to convince you that their story checks out and will deny any fault that may be possible.
Manipulators: one major sign of an antisocial personality disorder is someone who persistently lies, according to the Mayo Clinic. People with this type of personality disorder are very skilled at this craft so you really need to be aware of this sign. They will do whatever it takes to force the blame on you in order to get out of any situation. Don’t feel like you are the only target, you need to realize that everyone is a target to a psychopath. They love attention and being liked, but can’t stand when things do not go their way. This type of trait is also very common in a narcissist.
Excessive Anger: A psychopath or something with an antisocial personality disorder is someone who models excessive anger no matter who they’re with or what they are doing. In a relationship it might be verbal abuse. Outside of a relationship you might notice that they have constant road rage. This might be hard to detect because of their constant change in personalities. But if you look for patterns and consistency, you’ll be able to stay true to this sign.

10 Foods You Should Eat To Lose Weight
Eat these foods if you're trying to lose weight and get in shape. It’s never too late to start changing the way you eat and to get in shape. I’m not talking about subjecting yourself to fad diets/diet plan or anything that promises X results by X date, I mean filling your body with foods proven to increase your lifespan and the durability of your body and mind, and that will result in your losing weight. There are many good weight loss tips, but eating natural foods that aren’t processed beyond recognition is a good first step towards a healthier mind and body. It’s as simple as adding these to your diet: healthy fats, fiber and fruits, and vegetables.
You’re probably familiar with the concept of foods that are not only natural and healthy but that can also help you lose weight (if that’s what you’re in the mood for). It’s a simple concept, really: get rid of unhealthy sugar and add fruits like blueberries instead, switch up your breakfast to more wholesome carbs and fiber, and increase that legume intake.
But before you make any drastic changes to your lifestyle and diet, please consult a health professional first.

Summary:
- This nearly-magical beverage is one of the healthiest things you can put in your body. It’s packed with antioxidants that can help you lose weight.
Research has shown that the active compounds in green tea can help mobilize fat from your cells. It works by boosting the effects of your fat burning hormones, according to Healthline.
- Natural yogurt contains probiotics that can improve the processes happening in your stomach. A healthy stomach can protect against leptin resistance, which is one of the hormonal reasons for obesity. According to a study published in Obesity Research in April 2004, people on reduced-calorie diets who consumed 400 to 500 milligrams of calcium per day from dairy products, getting 1,200 to 1,300 milligrams of calcium per day, increased weight loss by approximately 70 percent.
Make sure you choose full-fat, natural yogurt and not the low-fat or flavored kind. The latter type of yogurt is full of sugar and associated with diabetes and heart disease.
- Studies have shown that people who eat a regular oatmeal breakfast instead of cold cereal saw healthier levels of cholesterol and significant weight loss. Why? Because oatmeal provides enough fibre to keep you full and satisfied for an entire morning (or until lunchtime kicks in).
- What can’t an avocado do? With its incredible dose of healthy fats, it’s both a hunger killer and a belly fat destroyer. Studies have shown that avocados are good for your health and your weight. Avocado keeps you satisfied for longer and fills you up with healthy, natural nutrients, nutrition. When you feed your body healthy fats, it’s more likely to release stored fats.
- Barley is a fibre-rich grain that hails from the Middle East, most commonly used for baking bread or as a rice substitute. Barley has the power to keep you full for longer, reducing your intake of food by quite a bit.
- Nuts like almonds used to be something to avoid because of the myth of the fatty acid, but studies now suggest that it’s one of the best weight loss stimulants out there. It contains good fats which, like we mentioned before, help the body in many ways (e.g. digestion, bowel movements, a feeling of being fuller for longer).
- Besides being delicious and a sweet treat, blueberries have tons of health benefits. For starters, they’re an antioxidant, and they contain vitamin C and vitamin E.
- This ancient Japanese soup is a mixture of broth and dissolved fermented bean paste with tofu, scallion, and kelp or seaweed. It’s tasty and very flavorful. The magic of miso soup is that per every bowl, there are only 25 calories and 2 grams of protein. On top of that, this soup contains B12 complex and protective fatty acids.
- Healthy Beans and Legumes can help you lose weight in a number of ways. They can curb your cravings for processed foods and unhealthy snacks and boost calorie and fat burning.
- Pickled cabbage, like any other fermented vegetable, contains an incredible amount of probiotics and prebiotics. These help keep your gut flora healthy. A balanced gut flora ensures a strong immune system. A healthy gut also protects against chronic inflammation of the stomach and insulin resistance.

14 Dangerous Products You Need To Throw Away Right Now
Here are the 14 objects you need to throw away right now for your safety.
#Safety #LifeHacks #Tips
Music:
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/...
Summary:
1. Pancake Mix. Wait one minute before grabbing those cleaning supplies because it’s time to hit the pantry. First, get rid of that old pancake mix. Snopes.com says that pancake mix can produce mold. Mold can produce not only gross pancakes but can be life-threatening as well.
2. Off-brand phone chargers. Now, you’re probably saying, I don’t want to pay $30 for an iPhone charger. While it may be tempting to buy off brand phone chargers from the dollar store, they actually do more harm than good! Off brand chargers sometimes can do some awful damage to your expensive smartphone.
3. Some expired medications. While not all medications become toxic, the experts at healthyway.com agree that psychiatric drugs should definitely not be kept past their expiration date, as well as eye drops, as both can become toxic. Certain medications may experience changes in chemical properties as they get older. They also become weaker and potentially unsafe.
4. Expired skin products and makeup. Get rid of all your expired skin products and makeup! Especially sunscreen. Research from healthyway.com has shown that after a while, sunscreen can lose its potency, which would be a major bummer after a long day at the beach. Especially if you have pale skin and tend to burn easily!
5. Old toothbrushes. You know that sticky old brush you put in your mouth (hopefully) twice a day? Turns out you need to change that every 3 to 4 months, according to the American Dental Association. They can harbor microorganisms that: “could cause oral and/or systemic infection”.
6. The kitchen sponge. Scientists have found that old kitchen sponges can host a bunch of bacteria, and when it’s left at room temperature, that bacteria multiply. Time to ditch that dirty old sponge! Although most of the bacteria that is found in kitchen sponges aren't harmful, there are certain pathogens that could cause infections.
7. Plastic cutting boards. Plastic cutting boards can harbor some pretty gross bacteria. According to an article by NC State University, bacteria forms in those creases you’re making while cutting kale or some other fashionable diet. Ditch the plastic, and buy some wood!
8. Plastic containers. BPA is the reason you should be ditching those plastic containers of yours, or at least the ones that have either a “7” or a “pc” on them. What’s BPA you ask? Health.com states that BPA is a harmful synthetic compound that can leak into your food. BPA stands for bisphenol A, and is a type of industrial chemical which is used to make certain plastics. BPA is usually found in plastic food containers and water bottles.
9. Diet Soda. According to health.com, diet soda contains the sweeteners saccharin and sucralose, which can affect your body negatively and give you intolerances. Because diet soda has fake sugar in it, it tricks your body into thinking it is drinking real sugar. This makes your body confused on how it should respond. Physiologically speaking, this means that when you drink diet soda, your body is not releasing the hormone that is responsible for regulating blood sugar as well as blood pressure.
10. Dirty or old air filters. Yes, some companies have promised to phase out the harmful phthalates, but some still contain them. Phthalates are harmful to the development of the reproductive system. Dirty or old air filters are home to all sorts of allergens, mold, and dust. This can reduce the airflow in a home, which is why you should always throw out old or dirty air filters.
11. Unclean contact lens case. Optometrists at health.com say that you should buy a new contact lens case every three months, as the dirty ones can cause damage to your eyes.
12. Old clothing. Psychiatrists and mental health professionals agree this is more of a mental thing than a life-threatening one, but ditch those old clothes! They’re cluttering your closet and making you feel trapped in your own home! Consider giving them away to charity.
13. Air fresheners. According to the experts at health.com, air fresheners feature 2, 5-dichlorophenol (2, 5-DCP), a metabolite of 1,4-dichlorobenzene, which is linked to many health-related issues, including cancer.
14. Non-stick cookware. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that nonstick cookware likely contains a carcinogen. Switch to glass or ceramic, or use some PAM instead!.

Summary:
1 Brittle Hair and Nails: One of the main vitamin deficiencies that can cause brittle hair and nails is biotin deficiency. According to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, individuals who constantly consume raw egg whites over long periods of time can become biotin deficient.
2 Mouth Ulcers: Have you ever gotten a canker sore or crack on the side of your mouth? If you have, chances are you may be suffering from low iron or vitamin B. According to one study published on PubMed, 144 patients in the United Kingdom who had oral disease were examined in order to try and resolve the controversy of whether or not levels of hemoglobin, blood cell numbers and indices, and blood film are adequate in the screening of patients with mouth ulcers.
3 Bleeding Gums: Sometimes when you brush your teeth aggressively, you end up with bleeding gums. Other times you may have a serious case of bad oral health, but sometimes a diet that is lacking vitamin C can contribute to your bleeding gums. According to the National Institute of Health, as vitamin C deficiency progresses, collagen synthesis becomes impaired and connective tissues in the body become weak. This can cause several health issues to occur, which includes swollen, bleeding gums and even loosening of teeth, because of how weak the tissues have become.
4 Poor Vision At Night: If your diet is lacking vitamin A, you may suffer from night blindness, according to an article published on PubMed. The article elaborated by explaining that if this symptom is left untreated; it can progress and become xerophthalmia, which is a condition that can damage the cornea and can potentially lead to blindness.
5 Scaly Patches and Dandruff: Scaly patches and dandruff can be caused by many different factors. According to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, vitamin B6 deficiency can be one of them. According to the book Human Vitamin B6 Requirements, one of the main causes of seborrheic dermatitis is vitamin B6 deficiency. If you are unfamiliar with seborrheic dermatitis, it is a common skin condition that mainly affects the scalp. The reason this occurs is that vitamin B6 is important for new cell production.
6 Hair Loss: According to a study published in the British Journal of Dermatology, vitamin D deficiency has been linked to alopecia, the autoimmune condition that causes bald patches on the scalp and other areas of the body. The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the status of vitamin D in patients who had alopecia areata and the relationship between vitamin D levels and the severity of the disease.
7 White and Red Bumps On Your Skin: If you ever have red or white bumps on your skin, you may be suffering from keratosis pilaris – small red or white bumps resembling acne and rough patches of skin on the arms, thighs and buttocks. Keratosis pilaris is a purely cosmetic condition that has no negative health effects and normally does not hurt or itch, according to Livestrong.
8 Restless Leg Syndrome: The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke states that restless leg syndrome affects up to 10% of Americans, and women are twice as likely to experience it. According to an article published on PubMed, there are two possible known causes for restless leg syndrome: CNS dopaminergic abnormality and CNS iron insufficiency.

15. Meat from the fridge: Thinking of frying a piece of meat that just came out of the fridge? Don’t! Leave it out for an hour or 2 before you cook it. Once it’s at room temperature, you’ll fry the meat evenly and get a great meal!
14. Juicy Meat: Wondering how to get the juiciest meat? Juicy meat is simply delicious, and here’s a tip on how to cook a perfectly juicy slice of meat: Simply take 3 cups of water, add ¼ cup of salt and ¼ cup of sugar. Pour the brine onto your meat so that the liquid covers it, and put the bowl in a fridge.
13. Enhance the taste of your spices: To enhance the taste of the black pepper or cumin in your dish, simply toss them in a pan over medium heat, toasting them until they’re fragrant. Once you do this, you can use a mortar and pestle to grind your spices.
12. Dough: Want to cook the perfect dough? All you have to do is follow this one simple rule and you will achieve it! Just take the butter and eggs out of the fridge the night before…and start baking when they are at room temperature. That’s it! You’ll notice such a difference.
11. Add a delicate crust to your fish: Want to fry fish on a grill and get a delicate crust? Easy! Just spread some mayonnaise on it to get a tasty delicate crust. All you need is a pastry brush. Grab the brush and dip the tip in the sauce. You can add some salt and then grill it!
10. What’s the secret to cooking the best steak? Alain Ducasse, one of the most famous chefs in the world, revealed his secret for cooking the perfect steak. It’s placed on its edge because it renders fat. Once you do that, the steak cooks in beef fat, creating an appetizing crust on the edges. That way you don’t need oil while cooking it!
9. The secret to mashed potatoes: Mashed potatoes are delicious - but if they’re not made properly, they can be a disaster. Before you mash your boiled potatoes, dry them properly. Put them in a heated frying pan and keep them there until all the remaining water dries out. Don’t let the heat fry them. Once dry, you’ll get the yummiest creamy mashed potatoes.
8. Veggie cream soup: Before you start cooking veggie cream soup, fry all the vegetables separately with olive oil. Then simply add water or a broth. The frying will caramelize the sugar in the veggies and really enhance their flavor. The food will be so delicious.
7. Pancakes: Mmmmm, pancakes. The best of the best when it comes to breakfast, don’t you agree? Well, want to get the best pancakes? Always add 2 tablespoons of sour cream to your pancake mix. This trick works for all kinds of pancakes and they turn out to be fluffy, free of cracks and most importantly….tasty!
6. Sugar as a seasoning: Sugar isn’t only used to sweeten your food. It also works as a good seasoning. Add a bit of sugar to a dish with pickled or fresh tomatoes or a tomato paste. The sugar will reduce their natural sourness and make any meal super tasty.
5. Perfectly fried eggs. That’s a tricky one. There are 3 components to the perfectly fried egg: thick-walled frying pan, butter, and minimum heat. Heat up the frying pan, add ½ tablespoon of butter. Make sure it melts slowly and doesn’t reach a sizzle. Break the eggs, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
4. Broth: Getting a clear broth is the most important part of a lot of soups, sauces and other dishes. You need to cook a chicken on a low heat without a cover for 3 hours. Don’t let it boil. After cooking it for 1.5 hours, you can add parsley, celery, carrots, and onions.
3. How to get a crispy bread crust: Just put a bowl of water into your oven when you bake. The steam will naturally work its magic and you’ll manage to get a nice, crispy, delicious bread crust. Usually, people have difficulty achieving the perfect crust. Either it’s too pale or too thick.
2. How to cook onions: Cooking onions CORRECTLY is key. Use a medium heat for frying, and add both cooking oil and butter to the heated frying pan. Cut the onions, and fry them with some salt. The salt helps get rid of the unpleasant onion smell, helps them cook quicker and caramelizes to add a sweet flavor.
1. Avoid smelling like garlic: If you love eating garlic, but don’t want to ruin your chances with a date, don’t worry. Don’t add garlic to the dish. Rather, apply some garlic juice to the plate. That way you’ll avoid smelling really bad and enjoy your favorite flavor!

Summary:
- So most people drink water with their meals, which has its positives, but also its negatives as well. According to Don Colbert, M.D., and author of Eat This and Live, drinking water during a meal can dilute digestive juices and even upset your stomach. He adds that drinking it in the morning immediately after you wake up is the ideal time. Your stomach is completely empty, so a glass of water won’t hinder your digestion, and if you have a bottle or glass by your bed, all you need to do is reach for it.
- If you are one of the many people who experience heartburn, it’s because you have high levels of acid in your stomach, according to The Family Medicine Handbook, which is brought to you by the Northen Ontario School of Medicine. During the night when you are sleeping, your stomach is the primary source of hydrochloric acid in your body. It produces it all night long. Usually, food will dilute the acid, but because your stomach is empty in the morning, heartburn is more likely to occur in the morning hours. But if you have water immediately after you wake up, it can reduce the level of acidity in your stomach.
- Drinking a warm glass of water as soon as you wake up in the morning on an empty stomach can help relieve your bowel movements and also help with constipation. Usually, when we are having trouble relieving our bowel movements, it’s because there is a lack of water in our bodies. In the morning when there is little to no water in our system, consuming water will help to quickly break down any food that has not been digested yet.
- if you’re looking to lose weight or try and control the number of calories you consume, water is a great source to help with that. Rolls adds that when you consume water with a meal, the meal tends to feel larger than it may actually be. This is because the food is digested more slowly, so you feel fuller.
- Dehydration can make the skin look more dry and wrinkly, which can be prevented or improved with proper hydration.
- If you know that your night is going to include a lot of alcohol consumption, it might be a good idea to mix in some water, especially when the night is coming to an end. This can help you prevent a hangover.
- Cells that do not maintain the proper balance of fluids and electrolytes will shrivel up, which can cause severe muscle fatigue. To prevent that, it is recommended that people drink around 17 ounces of water two hours before exercising.
- One of the health benefits of drinking water is to help maintain the balance of bodily fluids. Because over half of our body consists of water, it’s essential to keep these bodily fluids balanced because they help with digestion, circulation, absorption, transport of nutrients and the creation of saliva.
