Alyssa Mercante: It's Time to Apologize
In today's video, I'll be discussing the recent controversial actions of Kotaku editor Alyssa Mercante. Mercante, in an alarming move, contacted Smash JT's wife via social media, which many have interpreted as an attempt to threaten his family. This behavior has sparked outrage and raised serious questions about journalistic ethics and personal boundaries. In my opinion, Alyssa Mercante owes Smash JT and his family a sincere apology for overstepping these boundaries and causing unnecessary distress. It's essential for journalists to uphold ethical standards and respect the privacy of individuals, even in the context of online discourse.
In recent years, the boundaries of journalistic ethics and the influence of media outlets have sparked significant debate. One such example is the transformation of Kotaku, a once-popular gaming news site, into what some perceive as a platform for political agendas rather than gaming news.
The blending of personal and professional boundaries at Kotaku has sparked concerns about the ethical implications of modern journalism. A recent incident involving Kotaku writer Alyssa Mercante has brought these concerns to the forefront. Mercante's unprovoked contact with a private individual, in this case, contacting Smash JT's wife via social media DMs, has raised questions about the acceptable limits of journalistic behavior.
Despite the gravity of the situation, Kotaku has not publicly commented on the incident or taken any visible action against Mercante, who continues to be employed by the outlet. This lack of accountability has only exacerbated the situation, leading to further threats and harassment.
As consumers of media, it is essential to not only evaluate the content but also consider the context and methods of journalistic practices. The incident involving Alyssa Mercante underscores the need for a reevaluation of ethical standards in journalism, particularly in the digital age where personal boundaries can easily be crossed in the pursuit of a story.
Moving forward, it will be crucial for Kotaku and other media outlets to address these internal challenges and reassess their approach to reporting. The balance between journalistic freedom and respect for individual privacy will continue to be a contentious issue, highlighting the evolving nature of media ethics in today's digital landscape.

After This, Gamers Are FURIOUS with Xbox!
Today, let's dive into the current state of Xbox and Microsoft, which seems to be in a pretty rough spot. I've been closely following the console's developments, from the decline in Game Pass numbers to their games launching in broken states. It's concerning to see Xbox titles being released on PS5, indicating a struggle for profitability.
What's peculiar is the silence from Xbox's top brass like Phil Spencer and Matt Booty. Despite the console wars essentially ending, there's been a lack of transparency about the company's direction. However, a former Microsoft employee recently shed some light on why Game Pass may have failed.
He pointed out that Game Pass has created a paradox where games launching on the service miss their sales goals. This is because gamers are less inclined to pay full price for a game that's already available on a subscription service. While Game Pass initially showed promise, its growth has stagnated, leading to questions about its long-term viability.
Furthermore, Xbox's focus on Game Pass has led to the closure of studios like Tango and Arkane Austin, which produced successful titles like Hi-Fi Rush and Dishonored. This raises concerns about Xbox's commitment to quality gaming experiences.
Xbox's current strategy seems unsustainable. While Phil Spencer has touted Game Pass for increasing player engagement, it hasn't translated into significant revenue growth. This has forced Xbox to cut costs, leading to the closure of studios and the cancellation of projects like the upcoming Perfect Dark reboot.
In conclusion, Xbox's reliance on Game Pass as a primary revenue driver may not be sustainable in the long run. The lack of profitability for games on the service and the closure of studios raise questions about the future of Xbox. As a fan of the brand, it's disheartening to see its current state, but only time will tell if Xbox can turn things around.

Xbox's Stupid Moves Piss Off Gamers....
Microsoft recently announced significant changes to their Bethesda and ZeniMax teams, with the closure of several studios and a shift in focus towards high-impact franchises. This decision, according to Microsoft, stems from a "reprioritization of titles and resources" to invest more deeply in Bethesda's portfolio of blockbuster games and beloved worlds.
Among the studios affected are Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog Studios, and Tango Gameworks, with Roundhouse Games being realigned to ZeniMax Online Studios. The impact of these changes is substantial. Development on Redfall has been abruptly ended, leaving players with an incomplete game. Mighty Doom, another title from Alpha Dog Studios, will also be sunset, with no further updates planned.
Despite the closures and realignments, Microsoft has stated that they will provide support, including severance benefits, to affected employees. They have also highlighted their future game lineup, which includes highly anticipated titles like Starfield: Shattered Space, Fallout 76: Skyline Valley, Indiana Jones in the Great Circle, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Golden Road.
However, these announcements have raised questions about Microsoft's decision-making and management. There is a sense of distrust among some observers, particularly regarding the handling of Redfall. The closure of studios that were known for their innovation and creativity, such as Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks, has left many wondering about the future of new intellectual properties (IPs) under the Xbox umbrella.
While some may see the focus on established franchises like Fallout and Elder Scrolls as a positive, there are concerns about the lack of new IP development. The optics of shutting down studios known for creating new and unique experiences while focusing on existing franchises may not bode well for the future.
In conclusion, Microsoft's recent announcements regarding the changes to their Bethesda and ZeniMax teams have sparked mixed reactions. While there is excitement for upcoming games in established franchises, there is also a sense of disappointment and concern about the future of new IPs and studio closures. Microsoft's ability to balance these concerns and deliver on their promises will be closely watched by the gaming community.

Fire Kotaku's Alyssa Mercante Now! Worst Journalist Ever!
Alyssa Mercante, a journalist at Kotaku, has come under fire for her lack of journalistic integrity, particularly following accusations of misrepresenting individuals in interviews. Her recent interview with Crytivo CEO Alex Koshlekov has sparked controversy, with Koshlekov himself accusing Mercante of twisting his words. This incident adds to a growing list of concerns about Mercante's reporting, including her defense of Sweet Baby Inc. and perceived bias against gamers. Critics argue that Mercante's actions undermine the credibility of gaming journalism and highlight the need for more ethical reporting practices in the industry.
Alyssa Mercante's Controversial Interview with Crytivo CEO Sparks Backlash
Koshlekov accuses Mercante of misrepresenting his words. The gaming community is up in arms over an interview conducted by Kotaku's Alyssa Mercante with Crytivo CEO Alex Koshlekov. The controversy began when Koshlekov accused Mercante of intentionally misrepresenting his comments about gamers during their hour-long interview. This accusation has led to a heated debate about journalistic integrity and the role of the gaming press in shaping public opinion.
The interview centered around a recent incident involving Crytivo's game, "Farm Folks," which asked its community about female breast jiggle physics. After receiving backlash, Crytivo issued an apology, stating that they had "missed the mark" with their community feedback post. However, Koshlekov's comments in the interview with Mercante have reignited the controversy, with many accusing him of holding controversial views about women in gaming.
Mercante defended her approach, stating that Koshlekov's attempts to avoid political statements were naive given the current social climate. She argued that her questions were valid within the broader context of addressing sexism in gaming. However, critics argue that Mercante's interview was biased and pushed a false narrative about Koshlekov's views.
Overall, this incident has sparked a larger conversation about the responsibilities of journalists in the gaming industry. Many are calling for greater accountability and transparency in gaming journalism, citing this incident as a prime example of the need for reform.

WOKE Kotaku Employee Goes After YouTubers Family?!
In a shocking turn of events, Kotaku's senior editor Alyssa Mercante has come under fire for reportedly attacking Smash JT's family and messaging his wife in an attempt to sabotage their marriage. This disturbing behavior allegedly stems from Smash JT's criticism of Mercante's actions and Kotaku's narrative-driven journalism.
Creative director at GRIMOIRE, @abigbat, has openly supported Mercante's actions, stating that targeting gamers' families and anyone who disagrees with the mainstream industry narrative is the right thing to do. He encourages more people in the industry to "track down" significant others and mothers to "string them up" in front of them.
This revelation sheds light on the disturbing trends within the mainstream gaming industry. It highlights a concerning lack of journalistic integrity and a willingness to attack individuals personally for holding differing opinions. As @abigbat and Mercante's actions demonstrate, some individuals within the industry are willing to go to extreme lengths to silence dissent and enforce a specific narrative.
The implications of this behavior extend beyond the individuals involved. It raises questions about the integrity of gaming journalism as a whole and the need for ethical reporting practices. It is a stark reminder that journalistic integrity should always come first, and personal attacks have no place in the industry.
It's time for a change. The gaming community deserves better than sensationalism and personal attacks. We need journalism that values truth, fairness, and respect for all individuals. Join us in demanding accountability from Kotaku's parent company, G/O Media, and advocating for a return to unbiased reporting. Sign the petition to demand that Kotaku either reforms or relinquishes its platform, ensuring that video game journalism remains a pillar of truth and integrity.

Nintendo Switch 2 is FINALLY Confirmed!
In a surprising turn of events, Nintendo has officially announced that the successor to the Nintendo Switch, tentatively named the Nintendo Switch 2, will be unveiled before April 2025. This revelation came directly from Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa during the company's recent financial earnings report.
With global Nintendo Switch sales exceeding 141.32 million units, the anticipation for the next iteration of the popular console has been steadily building. Rumors and leaks about the Switch 2 have been circulating for some time, with speculation pointing to a potential release date in early 2025. However, Furukawa's announcement has now confirmed that the new hardware will be announced within the current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2025.
Despite this exciting news, fans will have to wait a bit longer for more details. Furukawa made it clear that the upcoming Nintendo Direct in June will not feature any information about the Switch 2. Instead, the focus will be on the Nintendo Switch's software lineup for the latter half of 2024.
While specific details about the Nintendo Switch 2 are still scarce, previous leaks have hinted at potential upgrades such as magnetic Joy-Cons, support for Nvidia DLSS, and backward compatibility with existing Nintendo Switch titles. With the console's release date still up in the air, it's clear that Nintendo is taking its time to ensure a successful launch without the supply issues seen with other recent console releases.
As we eagerly await more news about the Nintendo Switch 2, one thing is certain: Nintendo fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Stay tuned for further updates on this highly anticipated console!

SONY FAILED! Helldivers 2: PSN Account Requirement REVERSED!
SONY FAILED! Helldivers 2: PSN Account Requirement REVERSED! In a dramatic turn of events, PlayStation has reversed its decision on the Helldivers 2 PSN account requirement following massive backlash from fans. The controversial policy, which would have forced new players to link their Steam and PlayStation Network accounts, has been scrapped after tens of thousands of negative reviews and the delisting of the game in 177 countries. Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt expressed relief, stating, "Waking up to the sunshine of yesterday replaced with a dreary drizzle and shivering winds makes me reflect on how I spent my time those rare few moments when all was perfect." Despite the uproar, Pilestedt took responsibility for the debacle, admitting, "I did not ensure players were aware of the requirement and we didn't talk about it enough." The decision has been met with cautious optimism from fans, who hope that future games will not include similar requirements. The focus can now return to Helldivers 2's gameplay, which has garnered praise for its unique storytelling approach, leading to its immense success with an estimated 8 million units sold as of March 2024.
The uproar over the Helldivers 2 PSN account requirement reached a fever pitch over the weekend, with fans expressing outrage over what they saw as an unnecessary and intrusive policy. Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt, who has been a vocal presence throughout the controversy, took to social media to address the situation. In a series of tweets, Pilestedt acknowledged the backlash and expressed his regret over how the situation had unfolded. He also revealed that Arrowhead was in discussions with PlayStation to find a solution that would satisfy both parties and the player base.
The decision to reverse the PSN account requirement came as a relief to many fans, who had feared that the controversial policy would tarnish the reputation of the beloved franchise. With the policy now scrapped, players can once again focus on enjoying the game without the added burden of linking their accounts. Pilestedt thanked fans for their support and understanding throughout the ordeal, stating, "We just want to make a good game, and we're grateful to have such passionate fans who care about the future of Helldivers 2."
The controversy surrounding the PSN account requirement is just the latest in a series of challenges that Arrowhead has faced since the game's launch. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains committed to delivering a great gaming experience to its fans and is already hard at work on future updates and content for Helldivers 2. With the PSN account requirement now behind them, Arrowhead and PlayStation can once again focus on what matters most – delivering a fantastic game that keeps players coming back for more.

Sony Doubles Down on KILLING Helldivers 2!
Helldivers 2 is now mired in a quagmire of controversy, and it seems unlikely to recover from the fallout. The decision to require players to link their Steam accounts to a PlayStation Network account has backfired spectacularly, leading to a wave of negative reviews and a significant drop in player numbers. Sony's decision to double down and remove the game from countries where PlayStation Network is not available has only added fuel to the fire. This move not only alienates a significant portion of the player base but also sends a clear message that player feedback is not being taken seriously. The negative response to these decisions is likely to be the final nail in the coffin for Helldivers 2, marking it as a cautionary tale of how not to manage a game's community and player base. Helldivers 2 Community Manager Claims Players in Countries Without PlayStation Network Won't Need to Link Steam Accounts
Sony's decision to require linking Steam accounts to PlayStation Network for Helldivers 2 has sparked outrage among gamers. The move, which was announced in early June, led to a wave of negative reviews and a drop in player numbers.
In response to the backlash, Helldivers 2's Community Manager, Spitz, clarified that players in countries where PlayStation Network is not available will not need to link their accounts. This statement comes after Sony's initial announcement, which stated that all new Helldivers 2 players on Steam would be required to connect their accounts to PlayStation Network.
Despite efforts to address the concerns, negative feedback continues to pour in, with many players expressing frustration over the forced account linking. The situation has led to a significant decline in the game's popularity, as reflected in its Steam rating and player numbers.
Sony's decision to reinstate the PlayStation Network login requirement on PC has left many gamers feeling betrayed and has raised questions about the future of Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 Officially Canceled! Sony Lied to Gamers!
Sony has now ruined Helldivers 2. It's been a terrible day for the game and the team behind it. Angry players swarmed the co-op shooter's Steam page to review-bomb it like a giant hive of Terminids after a PlayStation Network login requirement was reinstated on PC.
“Ouch, right in the review score,” Arrowhead Studios CEO Johan Pilestedt tweeted after the hit game's rating turned to “mixed” on the Valve-owned storefront.
“Well, I guess it’s warranted,” the head developer continued. “Sorry, everyone, for how this all transpired. I hope we will make it up and regain the trust by providing a continued great game experience.”
Genuinely, I think it's a completely needless thing. It ruins the experience. You now have to make a PlayStation account to play Helldivers 2 on PC. Why? All right, 'cause of hurt feelings, I guess. This is absolutely insane, and it's not going down very well.
In fact, Sony (and this will probably be the title of the video) has now nuked Helldivers 2. And I know it sounds trivial, but it's not trivial. People's information is not trivial. People don't want to make these accounts. People can't be bothered to do this. Why add a needless step when people were just enjoying it as is? It was a success. Why are you doing this? It's dumb. So no, it's not trivial to all those saying it is.
So, Helldivers 2's official Twitter account tweeted this out. Hell divers an important message from our partner PlayStation about account linking for PC players and its significance in providing player safety features. You're playing online, you're safe. In fact, you're less safe if you give people your information. You're more safe by retaining anonymity. Oh no, wait, they don't want people to be anonymous. Of course, this is so dumb.
Anyway, here it is. I see, just insane. Why do you have to ruin stuff? It says, "Attention helldivers, due to technical issues at the launch of Hell divers 2, we allowed the linking requirements for steam accounts to a playstation network account to be temporarily optional. That grace period will now expire. Did you notify people of this before they bought the game? I see mass refunds coming. See details below in this post.
Account linking plays a crucial role in protecting our players' and upholding the values of Safety and Security provided on PlayStation and Playstation Studios games. You are as safe as they come. You're online. No one's going to hurt you. Just your feelings, perhaps, which, at the end of the day, just grow a pair. It's really not a big deal. This is our main way to protect players from griefing and abuse by enabling the banning of players that engage in that type of behavior.
It also allows those players that have been banned the right to appeal. Such as, such as of May 6th, all new hell divers 2 players on Steam will be required to connect their Steam account to a playstation network account. So no one wants this. Current players on on Steam will start to see the mandatory login from May 30th and will be required to have linked a steam and playstation network account by June 4th.
PlayStation Network accounts are free and easy to set up. But people don't want it. People don't want to give people their information. What are you doing? We understand that while this may be an inconvenience to some of you, this step will help us to continue to build a community that you're all proud to be a part of. Now, all that's going to happen here, by the way, will be a bunch of passes will be like, "Oh, they hurt my feelings." And it will just enable people to just abuse that system.
This is ridiculous. This appears to make no sense beyond forcing PSN accounts onto players. Thousands of other games have protected players, upheld value of safety and security through Steam without the need for an additional platform login.

The 3DO just KILLED the WORST Video Game Company Ever!
After this latest scandal involving Limited Run Games, I can't see myself supporting them ever again. The decision to use low-quality CD-Rs for their game releases, especially at premium prices, shows a lack of respect for their customers and the gaming community as a whole. Trust and transparency are crucial in this industry, and Limited Run Games has severely damaged that trust. As a consumer, I expect better, and until they can demonstrate a genuine commitment to quality and integrity, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Limited Run Games is facing criticism for using low-quality CD-Rs for their game releases, particularly for the 3DO console. While traditional software releases come on pressed disks, Limited Run Games opted for burning games onto CD-Rs, which are seen as less reliable and prone to failure over time.
Despite charging a premium for their "limited releases," Limited Run Games chose to go cheap on the disks, selling them as limited edition releases. This decision has sparked outrage among fans and critics alike, questioning the company's integrity and commitment to quality.
The use of CD-Rs raises concerns about the longevity and compatibility of these disks, especially with older hardware like the 3DO. This move has disappointed many fans who expected better from a company known for its physical releases of games.
Limited Run Games has since issued an apology and promised to work on a solution, offering replacement pressed disks for affected customers. However, this incident has damaged the trust and reputation of Limited Run Games, leaving many wondering about the quality of their future releases.

Streamer Ruins Her Life Over Stellar Blade..
DenimsTV decision to jokingly raise the bounty on Mark Kern's head to $30,000 and make inappropriate remarks about altering a character's appearance in Stellar Blade should be taken seriously. While it may have been intended as a joke, comments like these can have real-world consequences and should not be made lightly. The online community, including content creators, should be mindful of the impact their words can have and strive to create a positive and respectful environment for all.
Grummz, also known as Mark Kern, has sparked controversy by calling for an FBI investigation into Twitch streamer Denims after she jokingly raised the bounty on his head to $30,000. This move came in response to Kern's campaign to free the game Stellar Blade from censorship.

OUTRAGED Gamers CANCEL PSN Subscriptions Over Stellar Blade Censorship! #FreeStellarBlade
The #FreeStellarBlade Movement: Gamers Unite Against Censorship on PlayStation The gaming community is ablaze with the #FreeStellarBlade movement, a passionate outcry against censorship in the newly released game Stellar Blade on PlayStation. What started as a promise of an uncensored experience has turned into a debate over artistic freedom and consumer rights.
The controversy began when players noticed changes to the outfits of the main protagonist, Eve, and a reduction in gore levels post-release. This was in direct contrast to promises made by the official Stellar Blade account on X, assuring players of an uncensored version in all countries, including Japan. The most notable alteration was to the Holiday Bunny outfit, sparking outrage among fans who felt deceived by the changes.
Shift Up Corporation, the developer behind Stellar Blade, acknowledged the censorship during a launch event, stating that the version released was a day-one patch and that internal discussions were ongoing. However, this did little to appease gamers who had pre-ordered the game based on the promise of an uncensored experience.
Former World of Warcraft Team Lead, Mark Kern, took the lead in the #FreeStellarBlade movement, launching an 8-step plan and petition to restore the game to its original form. As part of this plan, Kern called on gamers to cancel their PlayStation Network subscriptions in protest of the censorship.
The response was immediate, with numerous gamers taking to social media to share their cancellations using the hashtag #FreeStellarBlade. The petition quickly gained traction, garnering over 35,000 signatures and counting. Gamers are standing up for their right to experience games as they were intended, without interference from publishers or platform holders.
The #FreeStellarBlade movement highlights a larger issue within the gaming industry: the struggle between artistic vision and corporate interests. It serves as a reminder that gamers have a voice and that they are willing to use it to protect their hobby from censorship and undue influence.
As the movement continues to grow, it sends a clear message to game developers and publishers: gamers demand transparency, honesty, and respect for their art form. Stellar Blade may be just one game, but the fight for artistic freedom and consumer rights is far from over.
Join the #FreeStellarBlade movement today and let your voice be heard. Sign the petition, share your support on social media, and stand up against censorship in gaming. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that games are made for gamers, not for corporate interests.

Gamers FURIOUS over Stellar Blade! #FreeStellarBlade Movement Grows!
Stellar Blade's promise of an uncensored release on Playstation has been shattered, with Shift Up failing to deliver on their commitment to release the game in its original, uncensored form. This betrayal of trust has left many gamers feeling disappointed and frustrated, especially after the controversy surrounding the "Hard R" graffiti incident.
In addition to the "Hard R" controversy, there have been other instances of censorship in Stellar Blade, such as changes to the level of violence and gore compared to the original demo version. These changes, while subtle, are noticeable and have led to a sense of unease among fans who were expecting the game to be true to its original vision.
Despite these issues, Shift Up has remained silent on the matter, only stating that the current version of the game is the final form. This lack of transparency has only fueled the backlash from the gaming community, with many feeling deceived and misled.
In response to this censorship, one gamer, known as Grum, has started an anti-censorship campaign with the hashtag #FreeStellarBlade. This campaign has gained traction on social media, with many gamers expressing their support for a version of the game that remains true to its original vision.
In a surprising turn of events, Tomb Raider has reversed its decision to censor the Lara Croft pinup posters in its remastered versions, thanks to the pressure from the gaming community. This demonstrates that gamer voices can make a difference and that censorship is not always the answer.
If you believe in the importance of creative freedom and oppose unnecessary censorship in video games, consider joining the #FreeStellarBlade campaign and signing the petition to revert the censorship changes in Stellar Blade. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that games are allowed to express themselves freely without fear of censorship.

Tomb Raider CENSORSHIP FAIL: Aspyr Damage Control!
Uncover the latest controversy surrounding Tomb Raider I-III Remastered! Players have noticed that a pair of Lara Croft pinup posters were removed from Tomb Raider III: The Lost Artefact in the remastered version, while they remain intact in the original graphics version.
YouTuber Melonie Mac pointed out, “Those posters were in the original.” It remains unclear why the pinup posters were removed. The change seems to have occurred after the game’s second patch on April 11th. Despite various changes noted in the patch notes, the removal of the pinups was not mentioned.
The posters were also featured on the official Tomb Raider website as one of the ten remaster details players might have overlooked. The blog post explained, “There are two posters, original renders of Lara signed as Laura Cruz in Tomb Raider III’s The Lost Artifact expansion level, Sleeping with the Fishes. Initially, the character of Lara was named Laura Cruz, but the developers later decided to make her British and changed the name to Lara Croft.”
Aspyr, the game's developers, have officially acknowledged the mistake and confirmed that the posters will be restored in the next update. They stated, “In Patch 2, we made several texture and graphical updates to the HD version. As part of these updates, the posters in Sleeping With The Fishes (The Lost Artifact) were inadvertently removed in the HD version of the game. This has been resolved and these textures will be restored in Patch 3.”
Stay tuned for more updates on when Patch 3 will be released. Let us know your thoughts on this development in the Tomb Raider community!

Sony BETRAYED Gamers: Stellar Blade CENSORED?!?
In a recent statement, Sony announced that an in-game graffiti referencing a racial slur in Stellar Blade will be patched out in the game’s day-one update. The controversial graffiti, which reads ‘Hard’ and appears next to an in-game shop known as the ‘R Shop’, has sparked debate and criticism.
Sony clarified that the placement of the two graphics was unintentional and that developer Shift Up had no intention of creating offensive artwork. They assured players that the graffiti would be replaced in the day-one patch.
Despite the game receiving positive reviews, some critics, including IGN, have taken issue with the graffiti, calling it racist. This has led to discussions about fake outrage in gaming journalism and the need to find controversy where there may not be any.
What are your thoughts on this situation? Do you think the graffiti was intentionally racist, or is it being blown out of proportion? Let us know in the comments below!

They argue that emotes like "Laugh It Up" and "Take the L" have been part of Fortnite's identity since the beginning and are just harmless fun. After this, I'm NEVER Playing Pokemon Go AGAIN!
Consultancy firm GaymerX, similar to Sweet Baby Inc., advised Pokémon GO developer Niantic before the company implemented significant changes related to gender and avatars in the game.
According to former World of Warcraft Team Lead Mark Kern, GaymerX has disclosed on their website that they provided consultation services to Niantic, as well as to Volition and Behaviour Interactive. Like Sweet Baby Inc., GaymerX states that it "is proud to offer consulting and training services to the games industry," aiming to support and celebrate LGBTQIA+ people and culture in games. Their services include LGBTQIA+ centered training curricula and customized solutions for advancing Diversity, Equity, Visibility, and Inclusion in gaming.
GaymerX serves individuals and businesses in the video game and tabletop gaming industries, offering services such as sensitivity training, marketing, workshops promoting gender identity in the workplace, and community management strategies for supporting LGBTQIA+ players.
Mark Kern raised questions about the influence of GaymerX's consultation on Niantic, suggesting a connection between their involvement and the subsequent changes in Pokémon GO. He criticized these consultancy firms, stating, "These firms need to go!"

Kotaku Senior Editor Accused of Stalking YouTubers: Alyssa Mercante's Controversial Behavior Exposed
Recently, a Twitter user going by the handle Hypnotic (@RealHypnotic1) raised concerns about Kotaku senior editor Alyssa Mercante allegedly stalking game developer Mark Kern (@Grummz). According to Hypnotic, Mercante seems to have been consistently watching Kern's live streams, prompting Kern to tweet, "We joked that she watches all my streams, but this is really getting into Stalker territory! I don’t think she’s missed a single one of my streams, and I’ve done a lot.”
This incident isn't the first time Mercante has faced accusations of inappropriate behavior. Hypnotic also highlighted an incident where Mercante allegedly blocked supporters of gamers and then tweeted about them from behind the block. Additionally, Hypnotic claimed that Mercante had posted a fake tweet from Fandom Pulse, suggesting that the outlet had praised her appearance. Dr Disrespect OFFICIALLY BURIED Call of Duty!
Call of Duty streamer Dr Disrespect calls out Activision for its hypocrisy and advocacy of using illegal substances on the gaming community. In a recent turn of events, popular streamer Dr Disrespect has taken aim at gaming giant Activision for what he perceives as a glaring case of hypocrisy. The controversy stems from Activision's decision to celebrate the unofficial holiday, 4/20, with themed events in two of its popular titles, Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) and Warzone.
The events, known as the High Trip on Warzone and Blaze Up on MW3, have stirred up controversy due to their overt references to marijuana culture. Players can participate in these events using special Cheech and Chong skins and even consume "gummies" in Warzone's High Trip limited-time mode, which purportedly "sharpen your senses."
Dr Disrespect, known for his outspoken nature, didn't hold back in expressing his disdain for Activision's approach. In a tweet, he criticized the company for promoting drug-related content while simultaneously removing content related to a different issue. Specifically, he referenced the removal of NICKMERCS' skin for a comment made on social media, suggesting a double standard in Activision's content moderation policies.
"Activision is pushing water bongs and drugs but removed NICKMERCS' skin for saying 'leave the kids alone,'" Dr Disrespect tweeted. He went on to call Activision "a bunch of idiots" and "the biggest suit and tie phonies in the industry."
The streamer's comments have sparked a debate within the gaming community about the role of gaming companies in promoting responsible content. While many agree with Dr Disrespect's criticism of Activision's apparent hypocrisy, others argue that the inclusion of such content in games is a matter of creative freedom.
This controversy raises important questions about the impact of in-game content on players and the gaming community as a whole. Should gaming companies be more mindful of the content they include in their games, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like drug use? Or should they have the freedom to explore these themes in the name of artistic expression?
Activision has yet to respond to Dr Disrespect's comments, but the debate surrounding the issue is likely to continue. As the gaming industry continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how companies navigate these complex issues while maintaining a balance between creative freedom and responsible content creation.

Unhinged GameSpot Editor is ATTACKING Gamers
GameSpot Editor ATTACKS "White Incel Gamer Dudes". GameSpot Editor Jessica Cogswell's recent social media comments have sparked controversy within the gaming community. In a tweet from March, she referred to gamers as "incel gamer dudes," criticizing their expectations regarding character representation in games.
Cogswell's tweet read, "Man, idk how all these incel gamer dudes are expecting games to have hot characters and characters representative of them at the same time. Lmao at these replies. Get a life, weirdos."
This isn't the first time Cogswell has stirred up controversy. In March 2023, she announced her decision to stop using the term "JRPG," stating that it should be abolished because it categorizes games based on the race of their creators rather than their content. She also urged white individuals to refrain from commenting on the matter, emphasizing the importance of listening to marginalized voices.
Additionally, in September 2022, Cogswell criticized certain feminist groups for prioritizing the mourning of "problematic white women" over supporting women of color and trans women facing violence and discrimination.
These comments have sparked a debate about inclusivity and representation within the gaming community, with many questioning Cogswell's approach and statements.

Star Wars Outlaws OFFICIALLY DEAD ON ARRIVAL..
Hey everyone, today we're diving into the controversial world of Star Wars Outlaws. This upcoming game has stirred up quite a bit of discussion and debate, even though it hasn't hit the shelves yet. One of the major points of contention is the character design, with some claiming that the main character is unattractive. However, I personally don't see an issue with the character's appearance, and I believe that gameplay and story should take precedence over aesthetics.
Another hot topic is the inclusion of a season pass for a single-player game. This means that certain content, such as the Jabba the Hutt missions, is locked behind a paywall, even though it was advertised as part of the base game. This has led many to question the value of the season pass and whether it's justified to charge extra for content that should be included in the base game.
The pricing and content structure of Star Wars Outlaws have sparked a heated debate within the gaming community. Many are calling for a boycott of the game, while others are expressing disappointment with Ubisoft's handling of the situation. Personally, I'm not sure about buying this game, as the pricing and content issues have raised some red flags for me.
What are your thoughts on the Star Wars Outlaws controversy? Do you think the pricing and content structure are fair, or do you agree that it's a cash grab? Let me know in the comments below, and as always, thanks for watching.
