Finnish Beef Cabbage Casserole in less than 60 seconds. “Kaalilaatikko”. #EngineerDadCooks. Tuire had a craving for some Finnish comfort food. Very Basic. Very tasty. #finnishcooking

Olive Oil
Half a Large Onion
Garlic to taste
LB of Ground Beef
Simmer 20 minutes

Olive oil
Half cabbage
Cover & Reduce
15 minutes

1/2 cup of Rice
Basmati is best
I cooked 7 minutes in instant pot

Mix in Cabbage to Beef
Mix in Rice
Add maple Syrup to taste
Add 1/2 cup Broth (Beef is better)
Cook 40 minutes @375
Let cool 10 minutes
Serve with ligonberry or sour cream
