Ammo failure golden ring and how it can turn out badly

Ammo failure golden ring can show up after extended use of a piece of brass or due to excessive pressure. Neither instance is a good thing. It is very important to inspect your brass and cull out any that show any type of excessive indicators. Ammo failure can damage yourself, the gun, or both. Brass moves and stretches after being shot and can eventually stretch to its breaking point. The "Golden Ring" shows the weakening of the brass and is a tell tale indicator. Failures can be avoided.
