Is There A Peaceful Solution In Ukraine? 3-29-2022

Many American politicians, including President Biden, seem determined to escalate the War in Ukraine through aggressive rhetoric. Many experts speculate that the Biden Administration hopes to use Ukraine as a proxy war with Russia in hopes of toppling the Putin regime. The only thing that is certain is that the Ukrainian people will bear the full cost of of our politicians decisions.

There still remains the possibility for a peaceful conclusion to the war in Ukraine. Will Putin and Zelenskyy negotiate peace? Perhaps... While I am not overly optimistic, there is always hope.

My analysis of Ukraine do not focus on morality. We can all tell right from wrong in this war; you don't need me for that. Instead, I am trying to be as objective as possible, and make predictions about how these troubling events will unfold. With luck, we can find a way to navigate this war, and bring things to a peaceful conclusion.

Much of my focus is on how American foreign policy helped create this mess. The reason I'm not focusing on Putin's role in this war is because we have no real control over him. Putin is going to do what Putin is going to do, and our politicians should all know this! Additionally, Putin has a long history of taking advantage of the strategic opportunities that we give him, and the war in Ukraine would have been very easy to prevent if our politicians hadn't been so corrupt and ignorant.
