It just doesn't make sense... just in the USA alone, there was a massive influx of insane asylums, far more than the population would suggest or warrant. Was the psychology profession bastardized and abused, or were those buildings repurposed (and partly to put away those claiming conspiracy theories about a reset and mudflood?).
