You get three channels, including a Fenderesque clean (great pedal platform), an aggressive crunch, and a full, singing lead (both distortion channels are different). The VESTA sounds big and thick (very amp-like), yet the detail remains clear, even with the gain up full. Well, almost instantly (you have to attach between the strings and frets). Best of all, no damage, drilling, etc., and it is very affordable. Why buy a fretless guitar when you can have the FLATTER? Quick installation and quality sound that is both traditional and unusual (relative to fretted instruments). And, yes, I find this easy to play. For single notes, you aim for the fret and not between the frets. And so, if you are playing an A note, then the fret closest to the bridge direction is what you land on, whereas any slight deviation will produce a minor off-note (which can be very desirable with vibrato techniques).
