Thousands of Ukrainians protest in Kherson after city is seized by Russia

📢subscribe for more support please❤📢Ukrainians in the city of Kherson took to the streets on Saturday to protest against Russian forces' seizure of the city.

Tanks entered the port town of Kherson on Wednesday (March 2), a provincial capital of around 250,000 people, and Russian forces occupied the regional administration building on Thursday (March 3) according to an online post published by regional governor Hennadiy Laguta on the same day.

Kherson is the first significant urban center to fall into the hands of Russian troops.

Russia said its forces had stopped firing near two besieged Ukrainian cities on Saturday to allow safe passage to civilians fleeing fighting, but city officials said Moscow was not fully observing the partial ceasefire.
