Red Deer has needed additional health care capacity for a decade and we just spent two years dealing with a respiratory virus pandemic.

So why the influx of cash into the region now?

Does this fit into his long term capital plan?

Or, is it a way to build bridges with frustrated Central and rural Albertans ahead of the April 9th Special General Meeting where his leadership is up for review?
