Russian attack on Kyiv increases in face of Ukrainian opposition

There has been weighty gunfire and blasts in Ukraine's capital Kyiv as the Russian attack increases.

Russian powers seem, by all accounts, to be meeting solid obstruction. Ukraine's President Volodomyr Zelensky has promised that his nation will oppose the attack.

Germany has said it will send weapons to Ukraine to help its protection, finishing a restriction on military mediation abroad that has existed since the Second World War.
