The 2GIG GB1-345 is an excellent glass break that interfaces with the 2GIG security system. While Honeywell's 5853 will do the trick as well, this unit is made specifically by 2GIG to work with the Go!Control wireless security system. One of our favorite additions to a security system the Glass break detectors will ensure that your house is fully protected. Any thief who tries to get in by means other than simply walking through the door will find it difficult if a homeowner has added the protection of a glass break and a motion sensor or two. In this case, it will protect against people trying to get into the home by breaking non-hurricane proof glass. The glass break listens for a brief thud, then the shattering and crashing of glass. Once it hears this through a small microphone the panel will begin blaring and alert the police that a break-in has occurred. In this video, Sterling takes us through how to program the GB1-345 to 2GIG's most popular wireless security system the Go!Control (CP21-345).
