What is QuickFire?

QuickFire is a self lighting pouch containing paraffin wax. This patented formula is what makes QuickFire water resistant for use in even the most severe weather such as rain, snow or high winds. Anytime, anywhere, a fire is needed QuickFire provides a safe, clean, environmentally friendly way to start a fire.

If you are back packing, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, survival, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, skiing, mountain climbing, four wheeling, any thing to do with the outdoors or in your fireplace, take QuickFire with you so you know you can have a fire in virtually any condition.

How Fast does it light?

QuickFire has a light time of ½ to 2 seconds, depending on the humidity and type of match or lighter used it can take longer.

1 pouch of QuickFire produces a 8-13 inch high flame for 8-10 minutes depending on conditions. If you need a longer burn time, simply add more QuickFire

The QuickFire's outer wrapper is made of pressed oil and not plastic, making it 100% Non-Toxic.

QuickFire is NOT a combustible, therefore there is no explosive hazard, due to the wax substance it is recommended that QuickFire be kept in a cool dry place or the wax will melt above 150 degrees.

Can I use QuickFire in my fireplace or wood burning stove?

Yes, QuickFire is so safe, you can use it in your fireplace and wood stove. It will light similar to a candle with no flareups and gradually grow in density. It will easily dry out wet wood and create the proper draw up the chimney or flue.

How do I light charcoal briquettes using a charcoal chimney?

A charcoal chimney is a great way to light briquettes. Place QuickFire under the chimney, light it and place the chimney with your charcoal in it, over the flame. It typically will take about 10-15 minutes to light all of your charcoal depending on how much charcoal you have in the chimney.

Due to the wax substance QuickFire is water resistant it will still work if it gets wet.
In fact it will even float and burn right on water!

Does QuickFire work in the wind or will it blow out?

You do have to shield QuickFire from the wind when you first light it for 20-30 seconds, however, QuickFire will burn in winds in upwards of 30 MPH once it is lit.

Is there an odor with QuickFire?

There is also a slight odor from the wax substance, much like a candle burning, however there are no harmful chemicals or harsh odor.

What is the best way to store QuickFire?

A cool dry place is the best, but it can be stored anywhere that is less than 150 degrees. At 160 degrees the paraffin in it will start to melt. It can also be safely stored right next to food.
