One is that some kits will contact encrypted PowerG Sensors, while others will include non-encrypted legacy sensors. You should determine whether or not encryption is important for your needs. We always recommend using PowerG Sensors with the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus, as they are the most secure. But if you are comfortable using non-encrypted sensors with your system, then that is up to you. You will also need to choose whether the system kit you choose features an AT&T LTE Communicator or a Verizon LTE Communicator. We recommend going with whichever network is stronger in your area.
