In this video, Jarrett from Alarm Grid covers which tilt sensors can be used with the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 System. The standard Qolsys IQ Panel 2 System only supports 319.5 MHz sensors. You can add a Qolsys IQ Tilt to that system. This IQ Tilt can also be used with the 319.5 MHz Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus.

When it comes to determining wireless sensor compatibility for a wireless security system, you want to determine which wireless frequency the system. The original Qolsys IQ Panel 2 supports 319.5 MHz wireless sensors. An example of a 319.5 MHz tilt sensor is the Qolsys IQ Tilt. However, if you have a newer Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus, then you will need to determine which version of the system you have to determine which tilt sensors you can use. There are three (3) versions of the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus, these being the 319.5 MHz version, the 345 MHz version, and the 433 MHz version. It should also be noted that although each version of the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus can support PowerG Wireless Sensors, there is currently no PowerG Tilt Sensor.

If you have the 319.5 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus, you can just use the same Qolsys IQ Tilt Sensor that works with the standard IQ Panel 2. If you have the 345 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus, then the Honeywell 5822T is a good tilt sensor to use. And if you have the 433 MHz IQ Panel 2 Plus, then the DSC WST-400 is a good tilt sensor for the system. All wireless tilt sensors can be auto-enrolled with the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus, provided that the tilt sensor you are using is compatible with the system. To auto-enroll the sensor, put the system into its auto-enrollment mode and activate the sensor to learn it in.
