Ohhh, and the plot thickens. The Flight of Eisenstein by James Swallow sets the story from Nathaniel Garro's point-of-view. Captain of the Death Guard, Garro faces his most dangerous task yet... To inform the Emperor of the treachery by his own commanders.

As with most Warhammer books, the first part of the story really builds up the main characters, exploring their motives, displaying the weaknesses, and providing the reader with a clear understanding of how they came to be where they are, and the progression the character undergoes through the story.

The second part is all about the action! The suspenseful moments, fighting, death, and facing a power like nothing they have ever seen before.

This world is intricately detailed. Each scene has its place that builds onto the next. Each character provides important insights that provide clues to what is going to happen next, without fully knowing...

This series continues to impress, and displays the author's writing style at their finest!
