The Beadhead Green Rock Worm is a slight variation of the Popular Green Rock Worm fly. Rather than create the head using peacock herl this on uses a small black glass bead. This fly can be tied in sizes ranging from a #10 hook on down to a #18 for your specific fishing conditions. Green Caddis (Rhyacophila fuscula) is very prevalent across the Eastern and Midwest states and is a major food source for trout. The Beadhead Green Rock Worm is a basic nymph and an easy fly to tie. Plus, there is something about it that makes it a fun fly to tie. Enjoy
