Misreading the Quran - 3 Minute Quran Study: Episode 4

After learning about the now lost writing convention in early Quranic manuscripts where an elongated letter a was indicated by a little tick which nowadays is interpreted as an "ee" sound, it is time to look for it elsewhere.

What we find is that the Quran we know of today contains misreadings of some words, stemming from this forgotten writing convention, proving that there could not have been a strong oral tradition at the beginning of Islam.
