Ed Story created the Crackleback in the 1950's and it has become one of the most versatile fly for trout. It can be fished as a dry fly, a wet fly or a nymph and can easily be changed and tied for many fishing situations. Plus, it a a fun fly to tie!

If you have any questions about the tying of this fly feel free to let me know in the comments below.
