A Critique of Brené Brown's "Karen Spirituality"

Brené Brown recently made a statement that she was pulling her podcasts of Spotify because she claims Joe Rogan was spreading "covid misinformation." In this video, I analyze Brown's teachings and her target audience...probably privileged people, primarily suburban women, aka the "Karens," who are spiritually deadened by modern American culture.

The primary critique I have is that her so-called spiritual teachings are a mix of nice-sounding cotton candy with a heavy dose of veiled narcissism. While they are possibly helpful for certain people, don't get trapped in this mindset, go beyond it. Stop focusing on yourself so much and connect to God instead.

Note: This video will probably upset you if you are a big fan of Brené Brown - apologies, but I have to be "authentic" here. :-)
