The Montreal is a elegant and fun fly to tie. Basic and simple components it is also a nice fly for anyone wanting to start tying matched wing wet flies but is feeling intimidated. Turkey can be a very simple material to use when starting to tie matched wing flies. This particular version is from Ray Bergman's book Trout but you will find other versions people have tied as well. I like the colors of this fly. The brown, dark purple, red and gold all work very well together. Hope you like it as well. - Enjoy
