The Leadwing Coachman is a classic wet fly pattern that is stilled fished today. When drifted naturally the Leadwing Coachman can resemble a Caddis Fly or Mayfly emerging, a Caddis swimming down to lay it's eggs or even a general "drowned" insect. It is a fun and basic wet fly pattern and a great fly for anyone wanting to get started in tying and fishing wet flies. The Black Turkey, which I tied last week, resembles the Leadwing Coachman and that is why I am doing a video on it this week. Sometimes it is interesting to see the similarities and differences between patterns. - Enjoy
