The Mohair Leech is just about one of the most basic flies you can tie and one of the simplest of leech patterns. There are many variations of a "Mohair" leech but the basic fly tied with Mohair yarn is what started them all. Most are weighted with lead wire wraps but some have cones or beads on them to add flash or attraction as well as weight. Experiment with fly and you can come up with many different patterns. - Enjoy
