170 Kgs x4 SQUAT! BIG REP PR!
I wasn't even feeling all that great today. I was feeling lethargic, not very energized, and overall, kind of tired. However, my cues and performance were quite on point, so despite the lack of energy, the weight was moving fine. My goal was to try and go for three, and then make that my stoppong point. HOWEVER, the third rep felt surprisingly easier than I anticipated, so I decided to geind out ONE MORE. This is a big one for me. I did a soft 1RM attempt with 170 kgs a couple of months ago, and I think I could have also done it for at least 2 or 3 reps then. But to essentially QUADRUPLE my previous performance ON TOP of feeling lethargic and tired, is a BIG WIN. I am very pleased with today's results Onwards to 180 Kgs! AND BEYOND! 🤟🏻
