who will be the #best of the #BritAwards? #this year
ED Sheeran and grime artist Central Cee should start dusting their trophy cabinets now as they're expected to win big at The Brit Awards next week.
The streaming platform has worked out where each artist will rank in the five big categories of the night using their video steaming numbers from the UK.
This year the ceremony is on February 8 and will have performances from Liam Gallagher, Little Simz, Dave, Adele, Ed Sheeran and more at The 02.
Mo Gilligan, 33, will be making his debut as the host of the show which is broadcast on ITV.
The Thinking Out Loud singer, 30, is predicted to scoop up the accolades for Artist of the Year and Best Pop/R&B Act with his videos getting over 290million views this year.
Ed's video for Bad Habits spent more than 15 weeks at the top of the site's GB Top Artists chart in 2021.
If predictions are correct, the two awards will be his fifth and six Brit gongs to go alongside his four Grammys and numerous other accolades.
Adele, who he is up against in both categories, got 102million British views in the same period and her comeback track Easy On Me reached the top spot in twenty different countries.
Fellow Artist of the Year nominee Dave, 23, spent more than 45weeks in the GB Top Artists chart while Sam Fender, 27, and Little Simz, 27, had 16million and 4.3million UK streams respectively.
Newcomer Central Cee, 23, appears set to scoop up Best New Artist and Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime with over 128million views this year.
The London rapper used to record his music using his Apple laptop and headphones before upgrading to a studio.
D-Block tipped for Best Group win
Before being a Brits nominee he was reportedly turning down six-figure deals from record labels which are sure to double if he wins as predicted.
And his track Commitment Issues is in the top ten most-streamed music videos on YouTube.
In both categories, Central Cee is up against female rapper Little Simz who has amassed 4.3million viewers in the last year.
European group D-Block Europe is once again tipped for success by Youtube thanks to their 161million streams in the UK.
The video site thought they'd take a gong back in 2020, but they lost out to Foals - who haven't been nominated this year.
Little Mix is hot on their toes with 143.5 million views on their hits and their first single without Jesy Nelson, Confetti, peaked at number 2 on the GB's Top Artist chat.
Youtube's previous predictions in 2020 ended up getting half of the winners right with Scottish Lewis Capaldi, 25, heading home with two of his three expected gongs.
