Winter storm stretches from Texas to Maine

Nearly half the nation prepared for treacherous travel as states from Texas to Maine are in the path of a wicked winter storm. More than 2,000 flights were already canceled Thursday morning and overnight nearly 30,000 power outages reported across Texas and Oklahoma as temperatures plunged into the teens.
