A Hiking Path that was consumed by Fire

I spent a day hiking a path at Pilot Mountain in North Carolina on a path that had been consumed by a huge forest fire. It wasn't what I was expecting but it was a really great hike. I'll take you through some motivation to push yourself, give a tour of the place, explain 6 ways to survive a wildfire and give a little insight along the way.

This mountain is about an hour and half from Charlotte, NC and it was worth the drive for sure. I wasn't completely aware of how forest fires impact an area and how to really survive it if you are stuck outdoors in one.

Hike all the way around Pilot Mountain (no more than 1 hour walk)
