The Alexandra is a very old pattern that is great fun to tie as well as fish. There are a number of interesting aspects tot he recipe for this pattern that I mention in the video as well as go into great detail in the blog post on the Alexandra on DresedIrons.com. This is a fly well worth tying as it works well in warmwater situations as well as coldwater. - Enjoy
