01-16-22 Winter Storm Izzy arrives in Kentucky bring first freezing rain and then sleet. People often confuse sleet which is more ice pellet's with sleet. Sleet falls from the sky in frozen form where freezing rain falls as rain and then freezes once it hits the surface. This video is a good example of what sleet looks and sounds like.
