This 7.5x50 stick features a double wrapper of maduro and habano in a spiral, with small veins, tight seams, large double cap and rich hay, honey and pepper aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of rich smoke starting towards mild but growing to the finish to medium showing flavors of a soft wood, slight milky chocolate followed by a quite spicy cayenne. The first third mellows to a plainer straight woodiness and where the maduro is overlayed, it doesn't quite catch up the burnline. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes needing just quick double puffs to burn well. Body is medium-full with notes of a creamy slightly peppery wood core and a long finish of the same. Ending at 1:25 the last third gets a bit rougher and ramps up the strength, going to a deep oaky core.
