This 7.5x49 stick offers a medium tan wrapper with slight imperfections such as tears, nicks, discolorations and splotches. It has minimal veins, tight seams, a soft paper bag feel and even slightly spongy construction and a sweet barnyard aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw, tons of rich medium body smoke with a core of pepper and sweetness. The finish is long and zingy leaving an oily mouthfeel. The first third burns pretty quickly, giving medium-full body flavors of a creamy leather and pepper with a bit of zing on the finish but not huge like first light. Burn is good but not razor sharp and the smoke output is excellent. The 1/2 way point comes at 1:10 with no changes to performance, it continues to be an excellent performer. The ash fell off in one big chunk, holding right to the 2nd third. 1 hour 30 minutes in, flavors change to a medium body creamy nut and wood combo, still with very good performance, only starting the last third. Ending at 1:50, the remainder was the same.
