Today we are stopping in Huntington, WV to have a look around. This isn't just another back woods holler (though they are very interesting), Huntington is the second largest city in the state.

We start our day at the Harris Riverfront Park, a beautiful spot to enjoy some nature. Next we head over to the Huntington Museum of art to enjoy some of the paintings, glass, and other art from around the world. To get a better feel for the culture we sit down with a local veteran named Les for a cup of coffee. Not far from the coffee shop is Marshall University. The campus is well worth a visit if you are in town. For lunch we hit up the local Frostop. Frostop is an icon of 1950s and 60s America, this particular one has been making delicious hamburgers and root beer since 1959. If you are in the mood for some shopping or other options for eating, check out Pullman Square. While at the square we took the time to walk over to The Market, a great place to have a taste of the local flavor. Finally, if you find yourself in Huntington during the last week of October, head over to the Pumpkin house in nearby Kenova to see thousands of carved pumpkins on display.
