The Virgin Birth |✝⚛

It's that time of year again! This is Christmas eve! Last year I did a short video on Jesus' Y-chromosome. At least as of the making of this video it's been my most popular video. I'm going to talk about a related subject. Jesus' virgin birth. The idea that Mary didn't have any relations with a man to conceive Jesus. There has been pretty much no debate, at least in Christian communities, about the virgin birth of Jesus. It's right there in the bible after all. There's been pretty much no debate by secular scientists either. They think it didn't happen. That the story is completely made up, or worse Mary was sleeping around. Among Christian scientists however there is some debate, not about "did it happen," but how it happened. As a catholic molecular biologist, I have thought a bit about this myself! Let me Explain!
