A U.S. court of appeals has given the greenlight to Biden’s vax mandate for private companies—the case is now expected to be challenged in the Supreme Court. At the same time, there is a growing list of companies, like Amtrak which are reversing their vaccine mandate policies.

President Biden has warned the ‘unvaccinated’ of America that they face a winter of ‘severe illness and death’ if they refuse the jab. Recent science on the Omicron variant may paint a different picture though.

Russian head of state, Vladimir Putin has pledged to attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He and Chinese Communist Party head, Xi Jinping appear to be forging friendship in the face of their mutual opposition from western countries. But can either one really trust the other?
