Here in a video published to her telegram channel, Fiona does a walkabout in a sea of protestors so vast it overflowed Parliament Square in London. It is good to see the British man roused from his slumber, to the chant "WE STAND TOGETHER".

It was a bit lonesome all throughout 2020 and 2021 when a mere handful of Brits, mostly women, sounded the alarum beside Piers Corbyn and Johnathan Sumption. The most visible to me were Fiona, @that_nurse_who_asks_questions, @bevturner_thatsme and @annabrees amongst others. I guess if you bang on a drum for long enough and consistently enough the message gets through. Add to this the new restrictions passed by the House last Tuesday by a 356 to 100 margin, Fiona's court case on Wednesday and the swinging defeat by 23,000 votes of the Tories on Friday in the by-election at North Shropshire and a scene like this was bound to occur.

The video gets exciting around 0:53, when we see a phalanx of 10 police in their high-viz jacket with truncheons at the ready, guarding a beleaguered ministerial car. The police might have been killed if they had loosed the violence. Instead they withdrew, tails properly between their legs.

Jibber Jabber Johnson's government seems to hang in the balance but you would be wise not to celebrate just yet. Things are never certain in British politics.
