Oddly, Marvel vs DC is becoming a feud of the past. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe threatens to replace the Star Wars universe in the world of movies and pop culture, a new debate is emerging, comparing Marvel Studios to its older, bi-polar step-sibling Lucasfilm.

This video highlights some of the foundational differences in the principles, attitudes, and philosophies of these two companies.

2021 Update:
Marvel is sadly moving away from it's original philosophy of focusing on characters, honoring to the comics, and respecting the fans. I will undoubtedly be able to make a Marvel vs Marvel 2020 video soon enough.
