TikToker swaps bobby pin for house after 18 months of trades

TikTok user Demi Skipper, who runs the ‘Trade Me Project’ account, has managed to barter her way from a humble bobby pin all the way up to a house in Tennessee, via earrings, a vacuum cleaner, and a Chipotle celebrity card, which gives the owner a year of free food. Swapping the Chipotle card for a trailer, Demi then traded the trailer for a fixer-upper near Nashville. She’s now planning another swapathon, but says she’ll give the next house to someone in need.

Hang on – a year of free Chipotle? We’d have stopped at that, to be honest.
