A motorcade carrying former Senator Robert J. Dole arrives at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Dec. 10, 2021. The late senator World War II veteran departed Joint Base Andrews following a dignified transfer ceremony. Dole will travel to Kansas one last time before returning to Washington, D.C., for burial.
