FATAL ROLLOVER ACCIDENT, BEACON BAY TEXAS, 12/10/21...

1 Killed in Rollover Accident, BEACON BAY, December 11, 2021 - At approximately 11:35 pm on December 10, 2021, a white 2007 Chevy Malibu (names currently being withheld) was west-bound on FM-3126. For some reason, the vehicle left the pavement to the left to the soft ground and rolled three times coming to rest upright. During the rollovers, the driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Alcoholic beverage was found in the wreckage. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. One of the vehicle occupants passed away while enroute by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. The other occupant was transported by ambulance to Livingston Municipal Airport where a medical helicopter landed and transported him to Houston. The vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
