Arizona Phoenix South Mountain Park and Preserve 2 Dobbins Lookout

Driving up the winding road to the tops of South Mountain Park in slow, and a little nerve-racking.
The road is very narrow, the road angles this way and that making for some really great views, and probably really advantageous for water runoff, but scary to drive a truck up, which means I loved it!
I am setting a goal to ride my bike down this hill and film it before summertime. Summertime HAH!
I’m sorry, I think I need to explain here. The day I filmed this it was November 12th, temperatures were still in the mid 80’s and no rain in the forecast until late May. Such a change from Seattle just a few months ahh, I love this place. Dobbins lookout is one of the highest peaks in the area that you can drive to. There are about 4 peaks up here, each offering a slightly different view of the city, which are all incredible. If you happen to get into Phoenix and are here for only 1 day, I would highly recommend checking out Dobbins lookout for the best view around.
