Clamming with Brendan Fogerty Smithtown Bay

December 1, 2021. Brendan Fogerty let me tag along while he harvested clams from Smithtown Bay. He let me try my hand with his 18 tooth Stainless Steel Suitcase Rake. Total clams harvested in this one put was 40. They were a mix of Chowders, Cherrystone’s, Top Necks and Little Necks. Strong 3 knot current to deal with. It’s been a long time since I pulled a clam rake. It felt great to get out there again. Thanks for having me along Brendan!
