How to Make & Send Stems for Mixing & Mastering // Dance Diamond Mastering

I had a few people request a shorter version of my "how to make stems" video, so here's a shorter, more concise tutorial on how to make stems for mixing, mastering, and remixing, and how to zip them and send them.

Keep in mind, if you're going to be printing individual stems for mixing, you'll want to solo each track independently instead of grouping them together. The rest is the same process however. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR STEMS BEFORE SENDING. I make a strong point of this because if the stems are not correct it creates a huge headache, so lets get it right the first time! Just pop them back into your DAW before zipping them and sending them to me or your mix/mastering engineer. Takes an extra couple of minutes but saves a lot of headache in the future.
