Halo Infinite Multiplayer Is Currently In Beta

Halo Infinite multiplayer is currently in beta, but progress will carry over in Season 1. On the Halo Waypoint blog, Joseph Staten, Head of Creative, clarified why the early release of Halo Infinite on November 15th is currently in beta until it officially releases on December 8th, and stated that they made the decision as a way for players to find the remaining bugs and glitches for 343 industries to patch up before it officially launches next month. Not only that, they did so in anticipation of a high player population before the official release of the anticipated first person shooter.

Then he continued stating “Our previous Multiplayer Technical Preview went a long way to battle-testing our services and infrastructure, but as we prepare for a significant increase in the number of players jumping into Halo Infinite on launch day, December 8th, we want to ensure all our systems are good-to-go. While you may experience some bumps and bugs during this beta period, it does mark the official start of Halo Infinite Season 1, with all day-one maps and modes enabled as well as the full Season 1 Battle Pass.”
