Now from Canada, Rawan is originally from Lebanon, before starting this Online Business. Rawan Tells Her Story Of How Long She's Been Doing This Business, And What She Did Before.

Hi I'm Darren, and I'm one half of Darren and Mike, and I'm interviewing Rawan today about her online business. So Rawan, tell us how long have you been in the like, have you had your online
business, and what did you do before?

Hi everybody! My name is Rawan. I'm a stay-at-home mom. I'm originally from LEBANON, and I moved to CANADA almost 10 years ago. Before this Online Business, I used to change diapers pretty much. Before I had kids I used to work in the restaurant, for two years. That was the regular
9:00 to 5:00. I didn't see a future in it.
So when I got pregnant, I decided to stay home with my kids and raise them. And of course, just like any parent out there, I wanted to have the time and financial freedom to be able to raise them, and at the same time earn an income.
But my problem was that I didn't finish University. And in our community you know how it is - that you must finish University! The biggest thing is that you won't have a decent job that will actually allow you to have that financial freedom. So with everything that's happening online, I was like there has to be something that I can find and learn from scratch. And this is where I came across this amazing community.

So you've been doing this how long now?

It's been two years.

What would you say is your favorite thing about this business, and how has your life changed because of this business?

The favorite thing about this business is, literally right now with everything that's happening with the whole pandemic, I'm with my kids, in our brand-new house, in the city. And this is the best thing is that I'm able to be with them, buy the things that we want, which is this house that I'm in right now, and at the same time not worry about bills and not worrying about the things that I always used to worry about before this business. As an immigrant here in Canada, we take care of our parents, we take care of our loved ones. And that was my biggest thing. I didn't want to worry about that part. And right now I am so happy and excited because I'm able to be with my kids in the house that we always wanted. Like I've never Darren, in a million years thought I would be able to afford this kind of house. But we made it happen, with of course consistency, with patience, with lots of perseverance. I was able to get to get to where I want to be.
And best, best, best thing ever is that I've been living here by myself for ten years with my husband, and raising my family by myself. Right now, I'm actually sponsoring my parents. I already did, to
come to CANADA, my mom, my dad, and my brother. And I didn't have to worry about the expenses getting them here or finishing the paperwork. I don't know if you know about that, but it does cost a lot to get your parents or anyone sponsored over here. Right now I'm not worried. After this whole pandemic is done, they're actually coming to Canada, and they can actually self isolate in this house. I'm going to be in the other house that I have in town. So I don't even have to worry about those tiny details.

It's awesome I love what you said about patience and perseverance because so many people are always looking for a get-rich-quick! This is not a get-rich-quick! But a brand-new house in two years is pretty amazing!
